I love the meaning of this video. He went through so much heartbreak in the past with all his past girlfriend's breaking up with him. And he thinks he finally found the one, but now she's going away after graduation and now HE'S the one walking away, not because he wants to but because he has to. It's always a shame when two people love each other but have to break up for external factors, like moving away or going away to college.

I randomly have "I guess I'll get up, I guess I'll go for a walk" pop into my head all the time. First heard this song shortly after it came out my senior year and jammed it all the time, it just fit the vibe of my life so well at that point. But at some point in the last 10 years I listened to it for the last time. Was sitting here up way later than I should be, jamming out to whatever old song popped into my head, and I had that line pop into my head again, so I came back to jam it one more time. And whoo boy, when I tell you the nostalgia hit me, it was like a fully loaded semi going 80. I could write a book on how much my life has changed in the last 10 years, but suffice it to say this song still doesn't resonate with me the same way it didn't back then. It's still just a classic pop punk jam. And I'm not sad about that.

Sylvie Kavanagh Speaking from experience, the best thing to possibly do is just ignore them. Dont talk to him or her, dont look at them. Nothing. Just act like they never existed and move on. Damn. I used to be a very heartbroken kid a few years ago and couldn’t for shit find love. I slipped into major drug addiction and eventually slamming Heroin, smoking crack, meth, doing Oxys every day and eating Xanax like it’s smarties. And now I’m sitting here and I have found the most wonderful girlfriend, we’re a couple for 3 years now, and the thing is i haven’t lost a single thought about females I thought I would never get out of my head. And hearing this song, remenoiscing, it kinda puts things into perspective and I realized this like damn, these girls that you thought would mean the life to you didn’t matter at all in the end, but the experience and growth linked to it. Life is a crazy ride. I haven‘t touched dog food for a cool minute, I kicked Xanax and I’m pretty much slower down with everything.

Her face at the end says "i made a terrible mistake"....everybody thats taken someone for granted or been taken for granted knows that sudden realization..too bad it never hits you until the second its too late.

ive come back to this so many times, on either end of relationships, just when i feel like it, for nostalgia, etc. it means something different every time. just know that youre loved, youre important, and that you are bigger, stronger, and better than whatever youre up against.

I start high school tomorrow, I want to keep coming back here until I graduate. I've been listening to this song since I was in 5th grade, and I love MOBO. So I'm going to keep up with this comment and update every year. Finally, in June of 2025 I will blare this song leaving school to show my respect.

5 years ago after high school I felt alone and depressed, i pushed everyone away. Including the one girl i would figure out years later that I truly loved, the one I missed out on that I could have had so many amazing things with. It wasnt until a year ago I finally had the guts to talk to her again. We talked like old friends, we caught up. Then we confessed to each other about what we felt. That I royally fucked up and that I broke her heart, that she thought about me for years too and those times we crossed paths again we were both so nervous to talk to each other, that I wished I had the guts to talk to her. The sad part is, that this is life, I didn't get the girl, even after all these years she keeps me up at night, wishing about what could have been. She did what I could never do, and that was forgive me, I cant forgive myself for what I did to her, what i missed out on, I let her walk away. I discovered this song when I started talking to her again, I've never related to another song so much, I listen to it everyday now. Modern Baseball is now one of my favorite bands, I'd do anything to see this song live and just sing along to with everything I have. This is just a long late night rant but I just need to let someone know. Anyone. She wasn't the only one who thought of us that way, I still spend many nights just wide awake, I let her walk away. Sorry for taking up your whole screen. Play this song again for me, for everyone that this song means alot to, and for Modern Baseball, for all their growth over the years as a band and individual artists. MoBo forever.

so i’m just 1 month away from officially graduating high school, i’ve had my last day of actual school but i’ve only got exams now. Going through a really weird time in my life right now as my friends are all going away to college, including my best friend who i’ve been in love with for the last 4 years, whilst i’m not coz i’m staying here. found this song way back and have coincidentally only started loving it recently so thank you modern baseball for giving me something to hold on to right now

my best friend, my soul, my twin flame, moved recently. 14 hours away. its been the roughest time for me. the day before he left, me and my friends planned a hangout with him, we spent as much time as we could. he needed a ride home, so i stepped in and gave him a ride. this song played as we arrived at his house and i stepped out the car and embraced him in a hug for the last time. "Its been three whole years and i been thinkin bout u everyday" hits so hard. every time i think of this song, it reminds me of the warmness of his body against mine in our last hug, it reminds me of his glassy eyes when i looked up and the final goodbye. thank you modern baseball. although me and him dreamt of graduating together, im okay with playing this song and imagining it instead.
