This is an incredibly interesting mod. Because, while Rare cards are powerful, they usually rely on common and uncommon cards to prop them up. So you could actually end up being weaker by having all rares, which is interesting.

I think the reason you thought you were getting burns is because when you highlight over Immolate you see the burn there, and thus you played the card so quickly and moved on so fast that your brain registered that "This will give you a burn" when you highlighted Immolate as "Getting the burn." Also, I love how I can literally *see* Andrew's editing improving. It was already good, but the little jokes and commentary are just getting better and better.

So interesting, I would love to see this on someone like the Defect, but you start with the random creation cards (e.g. white noise genetic algorithm hello world). I don't know how possible it would be because I don't think the defect has a lot of damaging rare cards, but frost is a smart guy he could probably do it.

damage wouldn't be the problem (easy access to biased cog and electrodynamics for lightning orbs. they'd even have the potential from easy core surges in order to make biased cog 'free'. i think defect's struggle would be a severe lack of defense (rainbow is the only rare card that gives frost orbs. and buffer only blocks a single instance of damage. it collapses fast vs multi-attack). couple that with no orb slot granting cards and you could easily get overwhelmed with damage

When I saw the title of this one I thought it would be like when you start with all rare cards in the daily climb -- ha! I think I'd have waaaay better luck with this mod instead :) But alas, no mods on PS4 other than what comes with the game.
