I have to mention that the US mission where you rescue Price and Ingram happened 2 years after Kommandobefehl (Commando Order) was issued, where it states that any and all Allied commandos who are captured would be summarily executed, even if properly uniformed or attempting to surrender. And if caught in enemy uniforms, they would be handed over to SD and executed, if they weren't killed in battle beforehand. So by the time the 101 Airborne starts their missions, Price and Ingram would be long dead

As I remember a lot from the old medal of Honor games, especially medal of Honor rising sun, you saw Marines using m1 rifles during the Battle of the philippines, and as well even not even wearing historical uniforms at that point. And that's not only to mention the other accounts of other things they got wrong in various other games. You missed some. Correct me if I'm wrong. - During battle of the buldge, Martin didn't wear proper uniform. He still wore the same uniform from D-Day, despite multiplayer mode has the proper uniform. Same thing can be said for Sgt.Evans during V2 rocket mission. He still wore Airborne uniform despite already joined SAS. - The snipers section of Pavlov House mission have normal Kar98ks with no bolt animation and don't share ammo with regular ones. - Pvt. Elder was training with 101st despite being the 82nd. It would make more sense if he was 101st.

50:50 I was always perplexed by the decision to arm the Soviets with P08's. Even considering technical limitations preventing the inclusion of another pistol, the 1911 from the other Allied campaigns would make more sense. The low poly world model for the 1911 could stand in for a TT33 in the hands of NPCs thanks to the pistols shared heritage. Not to mention the many 1911s supplied to the soviets by the US as lend lease justifying some being present. If they just really wanted to give the player a captured German pistol, I think that's fine. But, every Soviet officer having a Luger? Feels wrong

I just realized that you talked a little bit about the multiplayer maps in this video. This has made me realize that it could be quite interesting to see you do a breakdown of each games multiplayers. You could do a section breaking down the maps based on real locations, then the realism of the maps that are historical fiction, before finally breaking down every other aspect of the multiplayer (Such as weapons and their attachments, kill-streaks, and historically inspired cosmetics). I think when it comes to blatantly incorrect cosmetics like Bozo The Clown and the like you should just add one point for each of them. Then when it comes to uniforms that are inaccurate, but based on real uniforms, you can break down each aspect that is wrong. Finally, historically inspired uniforms can be broken down fully. I wouldn't expect all of these videos to be the same length as the campaign videos but I still think they'd be interesting nonetheless. Especially once you get into games with wackier kill-streaks like Black Ops. Not all of them could be done this way, but I think that myself and others would still be interested in seeing the multiplayers broken down in the same way as the campaign.

This game is based on real events from movies. The fact that in the end you are not Captain America taking Berlin is just amazing.

After watching your series on historical inaccuracies, do you think there is a possibility of seeing this for the "Medal of Honor" series? I aware most, if not all (D-Day), missions are fictional, but I saw documentaries of the developers from the old games and the newest VR one, making in-depth research on the aesthetics, looks and locations rather than actual real operations done during WW2.

Depending on how bad they are, the Sniper Elite games may fit this series you got going. I know I would love to see them covered like this.

I think games from this era were in a real sweet spot. They're much closer to arcade shooters than to Arma or even Squad, but they still marketed themselves on realism/immersion, and so the arcadeyness is downplayed at least aesthetically. Everything kinda *feels* right even if it actually isn't. I also liked that the grenades in this game damaged you from like fifty yards away lol it was immersive. And melee attacks were less effective than bullets cuz of course they would be.

It's amazing that, despite being so inaccurate, the movie Enemy at the Gates inspired Call of duty so much. Might be inaccurate, but nowhere near Vanguard-level disrespectful.
