I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now. I find old ones, new ones, old ones again. I agree with some of the comments, sometimes I think "OMG Hot Mess, but then Bam, yeah! pulled it together!" I just don't have that kind of talent, but, I am caring less and less about "perfection" and learning to go with the flow and incorporate my "oops" with whatever I try. Thanks for that! Love your "keep it real" attitude and approach. Not editing out ALL of the "whoa there" makes it so much more legit for me, who has been starting out for the last two years, and still starting out. Keep it Real. Thanks!

I love that you use what you have!!!! So often I get overwhelmed with other videos that use new supplies that get me excited only to find out the “bundle” costs $50 to $75!!!!! Thank you for keeping it real❤️

Love those eyelets and that wire!!! A neighbor just gifted me with three huge bags/boxes of stuff, and there was a ton of wire. Can't wait to try this for myself. I am going to put mine on a black card base. Thank you for the great video inspiration. So glad your husband joined you as I feel there are more videos now and the ideas are so varied. Go team Lindsay!

I too like eyelets and use them quite often. Like them much more than sequins!!! Have wire I’ve been using for yrs, hoping to use it up. Mostly use it with beads especially alphabet beads to put Mom or dad for their day or special names on cards. Also good for graduation cards done in school colors. Like the use of colors u chose on these cards.

Hi Lindsey I hope this finds you well. I hope too that you and your family had a beautiful Christmas celebration and that you have a wonderful year to come. You are so right about everything you spoke about. I often find that I try to get new things because everyone else has them. I realized that a while back and found that I needed to slow down and think more about my purchases. I could just buy basic supplies for probably a few years (i.e. paper, glue) and would be fine with what I have. Although there are still basics I don't have. Take care, thank you so much for your knowledge and inspiration. God bless you and your family

Try putting the beads on a piece of very low nap cloth. See if that helps in loading the beads on the wire.

QUESTION: I have a bunch of adult coloring books that is actually what got me into stamping was coloring those. so now i have a stack of books with images i love but the paper isn't good enough for the mediums that i use now, like water color, so basically my question is can i pasted coloring book pages to cardboard like you did and get some water effects like you did. the books i have has better paper than what most pattern paper is, so i think it might work, i would love to see you do that in a video, because so many of us have those books and i have no idea what to do with them!

I have not bought your stamps because I thought they had to be foam-mounted, but it looks like you're using them without mounting. Does this work just as well? I love it when you use the "old" stuff - That's what I have! TFS
@thefrugalcrafter6 жыл бұрын
They are very deeply etched so they stamp fine. I paint a bit of Aleene's tack it over and over glue on the back and let that dry so they are sticky and just stick it to a block and go. You can also use a glue stick but you will need to wash it off and reapply each time.
@lynettegoin55486 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I just didn't want to have to fool with trying to mount them on foam. I have lots of clear stamps but love, love, love my red rubber stamps....

Question, If I Grated a little bit of inktense would it be a decent brusho substitute? I am really just trying to use what I have instead of buying more. EDIT: Also do you think twine would work instead of the wire for a more organic look? Thanks 😊

You amaze me with all the ideas you come up with. Sorry, but I was also noticing your hands while you were working, they look like they are really cold. I was hoping that things might be warming up for you. I love all of your tree stamp sets, I guess I'll just have to save my pennies so I can get some, hope they're still around by then, LOL. Thank you for making such entertaining videos. Oh, do you or any of your peeps know anything about distress embossing powders? I got a couple colors of them from Tuesday Morning store awhile back thinking they'd work like regular embossing powders, but now wondering if I made a mistake buying them. Any info appreciated. Thanks. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
