I searched for a long time for someone to try this use of a brush cutter, and I found it on your channel. Thanks for the video!

Genius! Just searched a possibility to cut long grass in an ecological way (like an electric bar mower but less big). Came to the same idea and saw here how well it works! On the way to buy the hedge cutter! Thank you Sir!

This is exactly the video I was looking for, it just came to me this morning that a hedge trimmer should take care of really long grass on large areas and you show it off perfectly! Now I know it works, and tomorrow I'll go get one 😂😋 Thanks for making this video! ❤

@@TheFullyChargedGardener no worries mate that actually does a neater and faster Job of it get some funny looks but I no care about that 🤣 have had a few in my street copy and are doing the same seen one down on his hands and knees with a normal cutter doing it was bloody hilarious 🤣

Nice job looks quicker than strimmer

I was skeptic at first, but now I'm a beleafer. A mower would get clogged a lot doing this. A weed-wacker would take forever + require lots of rope (which means you are spreading microplastics all over your property). There's other brush cutters that could have done it faster, but they cost thousands of dollars. This seems like an effective and affordable method. I'm glad I watched this first before buying.

Hi, have you ever tried the stihl kombi scrub cutter attachment. Thinking it may be good for cutting back ornamental grasses / perennial meadows ?

Jack D Am definitely going to have to get an Ap200 to test this (not that I don’t believe you) an interesting experiment. We do use the Al500. I have our batteries numbered and I use them in sequence. They very rarely get run down to completely flat. 😀

Got some over grown grass behind the house. Never thought of using my hedge trimmer to do it. Note don’t spray Stihl hedge trimmer spray anywhere near grass. I did. Killed a strip of lawn.
@ungarelli814 жыл бұрын
you should lower the volume on your intro sound effects. It hurts my ears every time. And your voice has to low volume when your outside. I have to turn the volume up when you speak, och turn it down when you use your machines. If you do a little tweaking in post, it would be awesome. Other than that, great videos.

I would think since you have the KMA 130R you'd use the HL-KM 145. I use the HL-KM 145 on a battery platform and with KM131R. The only modification that is still needed is an oil reservoir that automatically oils the blades, similar to the chainsaw oiler. Have to keep an oil can or spray on me while trimming all day. A small file can help keep the edges up too.
@TheFullyChargedGardener4 жыл бұрын
d hamby Hi, we don’t have a KMA 130r.
