Great video mate. The HSA 94 T is easily one of the best hedgers on the market, petrol or battery powered. Looking forward to future videos 👍🏻

My next purchase will be this hedgetrimmer for sure!! I'm tired of breathing in 2-stroke fuel fumes all day when I'm hedgetrimming with my Maruyama

Thanks for the video Andrew . I'm in the process of setting up a business here in France after working 14 yrs for my local council . I have used both petrol and electric hedge cutters ( Kubuta ). I have just ordered the HSA 94 r and watched your video which helped . I love the HSA 94 T but had to made a difficult choice based on the work I will be doing , both rough and fine hedges . I have also ordered the HLA 135 K as I felt it suited for the hedge heights I've set myself . Thanks again ..Brian

I liked everything about the video, Andrew. Absolutely spot on. Great delivery, sound, picture quality, editing, the lot. I currently use Pellenc hedge cutters. Much lighter. However, it’s likely (but not definite) I’ll switch to Stihl when the Pellenc trimmers give up working. Already moving to Stihl range. I will miss the lightness of the Pellenc if and when I do change though.

Great video, interesting information, nice cut, what are they like on wet hedges, as machines tend to get a good soaking, does if effect them. Keep up the good work 👍

Also like the flat plate at the bottom. Just stops from pullin bits of the hedge with the silly legs on the petrol model. To do list next year.

I use both the Pellenc (back pack) and the 94r with a belt pack. The Pellenc though with a worn blade cuts finer but I prefer the 94r with a belt, it’s an overall much lighter kit to wear and a lot faster through the hedges, cuts about dubbel as fast as the pellenc. The 94t is supposed to be even faster but with narrower blade spacing, so it makes finer cuts but I believe the 94r is faster with tougher hedges.

I see your passion for battery kit but i couldnt move away from my 2 stroke and 4 mix gas models, especially my 500i, ive switched to aspen 4 and mix stihl hp super with it. Better for environment rather than pump fuel.
@TheFullyChargedGardener
@TheFullyChargedGardener Жыл бұрын
The 500i is an awesome bit of kit and I really enjoy using mine. But when it comes to tasks like hedge trimming the battery machines really are awesome. less fatigue, no fumes, less vibration, so much quieter. definitely worth giving a try. Thank you for watching.

Hello! Can I ask you some things about HSA 94T? Get used machine, mechanism seems OK, but there is real heating (very hot to touch with hand - about 50-60 Celcius) of bottom plate after 10-15 minutes of work. Is it normal? And How understand that I'm not overgreased the gear box? THANKS!

Have also had my HSA94R for about a year, agree with all the comments and a top quality piece of kit. You mentioned a "long term" review at the 2-year anniversary, I'd appreciate a run-down on your maintenance on the machine and your experiences. Do you do your own maintenance of blade sharpening and greasing? Any tips?

Great video. I'm seriously considering changing over to battery powered hedge trimmers. I trim a lot of shrubs and am really getting tired of the fumes from the 2 stroke. The weight difference will be nice as well.

Can you just drop a battery in the AP holster without any other components needed? Or is it just a holster for holding the battery which slots into something else?

Have you used the hsa 94 off a ladder? Looking at getting one but worried about the difficulties of moving a ladder with a backpack, trimmer and cord.
@TheFullyChargedGardener
@TheFullyChargedGardener 4 жыл бұрын
I have not used it up a ladder. I tend use the HLA 85 for tall stuff. If I do have to go up a ladder for really tall stuff, I use the HLA 65. hope this is helpful?

@@TheFullyChargedGardener I do large hedge contracts. Would be lost with out it to be honest. Very productive especially with scoop attached. Liking the battery kit for saving money on fuel. Will mention my above question to Stihl dealer next time iam in but would appreciate if you could do the same with your contacts. Be great if they did. Great videos mate 👍

My 94T burnt out in 10 months. It arrived after I’d finished most of last years July cut and burnt out before I’d started this years so hasn’t seen any heavy use. Been 4 weeks and no sign of any spares. Worse is I live not a few miles from the Camberley main distribution warehouse. Bloody rubbish
