Fillet Tool vs Chamfer Tool in Fusion 360 - How to Use Both Tools!

In this video, we talk about the differences between the Fillet Tool and the Chamfer tool in Autodesk Fusion 360! In today’s video, we’re going to take a look at the fillet and chamfer tools contained inside of Autodesk Fusion 360.
One of the things that can separate 3D models from objects in real life is that 3D models often have sharp edges. However, in real life, edges are rarely sharp, but instead are usually rounded off.
Luckily, Fusion 360 contains tools specifically designed to help you round off your edges.
This is going to be the first video where we’ve talked about the modify toolset rather than the solid toolset. This toolset allows you to modify objects that have already been created, rather than creating new objects.
There are really two tools contained inside of Fusion 360 designed to help you create edges like this. The first is called the fillet function. You can find this tool inside the modify toolbar. It will round off the edges you select based on a distance you dictate.
The way it works is fairly simple - you just activate the tool, then select the edges that you’d like to fillet. From there, you can dictate how far you’d like to round off your different edges. You can do this by clicking and dragging the arrow, or by typing in a distance that you’d like to fillet your object.
You can also select all the edges around a face by clicking on the face rather than individual edges.
There are several options for different ways these fillets can be achieved, such as the ability to set a fillet with one side being bigger than the other.
Also, you can set how corners are handled as well.
Another thing to note about the fillet tool is that not only can it be used to round down edges, but also to add smooth transitions between objects.
The Chamfer tool works in the same way that the fillet tool does, but the difference is that it bevels edges, giving you the ability to add a straight bevel to objects in your models!

Can you help me with something? I can't seem to find any information about this, and its really stressing me out. When I put a fillet or chamfer in circular models, I sometimes see a weird line splitting it. I try to delete the line and the 2 dots by selecting them and deleting it, but nothing happens. The only way I can sometimes get rid of it is by turning the step model to a mesh file, and then converting it back to a step (prismatic) file. Please let me know if you have any idea why this is happening, and how I can fix them when it does
