Man one thing I always struggled with when getting feedback from the Art Directors is how to note down the changes and feedback in real time while still paying attention to what's been said eg in Emily's situation. I could tell she was overwhelmed a bit. What helps me out in such situations is coming with my Gopro on such days. I place it on my desk facing the monitor and since it has a wide angle lens it captures the hands of the Directors when they're pointing at something specific. So I focus on what's been said rather than taking notes, then for clarity on the Art direction I just rewatch the recorded videos later when my mind is clear before making changes.
@fizzaiftikhar2 жыл бұрын
I struggle with this a lot too. Thank you for sharing your way of tackling this issue. I also think what if all of this is being operated from home as we speak about the changes in office environment due to pandemic. In that case, you could be talking to directors or clients through online meetings. I came up with a solution in that situation as well. Screen record the call so that you can totally focus on what the other person is saying instead of getting distracted by taking notes. Then later watch the recording while you start working on the required amendments.

Really like the refinement in this one and seeing how you will be able to use them without doing a lot of raw mock-up designs. There was a fair amount of tension which I know the feeling too. Means they are close but nothing jumping off the page with what non design clients will think and react. All going to be in the theatre of presenting them. Good work.
