These guys look awesome. Just picked them up for my boys birthday so I haven't got a chance to really check them out. We have a lot of BATMENS at our house so I'm glad they made such a unique figure. The photos of DEVESTATOR look awesome as well can't wait for them to release that guy!

Wow, McF set the bar really high with these. I love to see them back at the vanguard of the mass produced action figure market. I started collecting with Movie Maniacs and had so many McF figures back in the day, but I haven't bought any of their product in years. Looks like that's about to change! The pinstripe on the hellbat armor literally is the 66 car inspired. It was also used in an older Alex Ross design that preceded this version - both versions use the 66 batmobile pinstripe color.

These actually look good, the only three complains I have are about the torso articulation needing a bit more range forward, the single elbow joint (can't wrap my head around those) and the head that can't look up. Both the shoulders, the feet and the thighs could also use some work but these characters are wearing armor so some range limitations in the articulation can be forgiven. I've preordered them and I'm crossing my fingers for McFarlane's DC next wave. Thanks for the review Robo.

Oh man I've been waiting for you to get a hold of this line. How cool are they! and some pretty awesome poses in the pictures too which just shows that this line can articulate well enough to get some badass pics out of or to just look fantastic on a shelf, would I have liked them to have a neck joint so they could look up better, of course and some better thigh swivel but over all they will do for a $20/$25 figure. I love McFarlane's take on these armored figures. I would love to see him do the Superman Armor from the Animated Series' last two episodes "Legacy" when Darkseid convinces Superman to attack Earth. The look was so cool and very Kirby-esque.

I just picked up these two figures a few days ago, I actually didn't even know these existed but just happen to be in Toys R Us and saw a bunch of these on the shelves. Decided I would get these two. I haven't opened my boxes but very tempted. Also as a comic fan I don't think I've read the Superman unchained story. It's not a look I recognize.

I had the peg for one of the wings break off on the superman. I don't know if McFarlane uses a more brittle plastic than other companies, but I've never had anything else break, and I've had 2 of the multiverse figures snap.

Disappointed that, among other things, all the McFarlane figures are roughly very similar height, but upside to that, the armored characters will be even easier to fudge into a 6 inch scale display. Definitely gonna be getting Hellbat Batman to go with my Mezco Batman collection, especially when I do the big Batcave diorama I'm planning.
