Goddamn are the paintjobs improving. They look very nice especially the Frostmourn and Hellion. Speaking of the Hellion I think you could also use it as a Minotaur.

As the Fire Hellion is a huge mini, I doubt it would work for a "regular" minotaur (which is a large creature in MM). Couldn't work as a PC player unless it was only used for an enlarged character or something like it.

These huge minis duplicates and the re-release of the orc and bugbear warband were a real let down for me. I guess I'll go after the singles I want instead of buying a brick.

I bought a brick when this set came out. No joke, I got 29/42 with only 2 duplicates. I got super lucky. Maybe wait for a sale on bricks? Sorry for the bad luck this time, @thegallantgoblin

You may like to know that I opened a booster box today that had the same combo of Rockspeaker, bag jelly, orc and shrieker in it. The box with the fire helion was also the same.

We just got & opened our brick & matching book today! My boyfriend is our DM & really likes the book & minis. You got some cool ones we didn't get, like Bigby, the angel wing looking one, the vested guy you really like & the bag jelly (so far). No repeats on the huge ones for us 🙂, just 3 repeats on the med & smalls (which is fine). We opened the giant badger last & its pretty cool. Good paint jobs this time, but a bit bendy for us too (we're in Ohio). You can also gently use a heat gun to warm them to bend the plastic as you like (my bf does that). Good set overall. There's a few more I'd like to pick up later to add to it. The dino with feathers is pretty cool too. 😊 Great video, had to rewatch for more info on whats what & what you got. ❤Love on your kitties for us please (we have 4). ❤😺😸

The dilophosaurus is probably connected to the circle of primeval druid which also has a mini in this set, it was in the UA for this book but was cut. Also i bought the collectors edition box and while the 3 giant minis are super cool im a little disappointed that all of the minis in the box are Uncommons and there arent any unique to the box

I also got a repeat on 2 of the huges. I've heard others have experienced a lot of this as well. Really disappointing as I only want 1 of each huge and I bought a brick expecting to get a good variety of them.

There has been 2 purple D&D ettercaps minis and one purple web lurker pathfinder mini before this one, I have the 3 of them, but now there ais a fourth. Imagine how would they look like together! that's a fantasy encounter, all monsters different ugly and dangerous, I imagine the noises they make with their horrible maws. The dilophosaurus is the one from jurassic park, the one described by paleontologists is 6 to 7 meters long and wasn't anything like this one so.... it is fantastic, I need one!

I think there's duplicates of huge minis because of the fact some monsters have to get new art as it was found out some art was finished by ai and Wizards didn't know the person used ai for example the firge giant forgecaller and frostmourn were finished by a guy using ai. I'm surprised frostmourn even got a mini this early

Lots of these are really cool, the paintjob on the bigger minis is definately better. But the overreliance of adding clear plastic stands to pose the minis is really annoying, like just pose them differently, balance and attach them betterm like they arent flying, they should not need ugly plastic stands.

Huge disappointment seeing so many rehashed minis from the warband line. Having more orc, bugbear and hobgoblin in different poses is always nice.

What a disappointing set! The new minis look mostly derivative, and there are so many ‘rehashes’ of older minis. I think Wozkids has finally reached the bottom of the proverbial banner. Not to mention the exorbitant prices they now charge! Ugh.
