I mean like, serial killers tend to appear sane to the regular unassuming person, albeit with one odd little “quirk” or another so I’m not at all surprised. Look at Ted Bundy. He appeared sane and charming to women. Look at Rodney Alcala. He went on a dating show and the girl fortunately rejected him, but still felt something odd about him, and he then killed more women.

The story was really good though sad. Honestly, I have no sympathy for the nurses, and I am glad those corrupt jerks are arrested. This story made me cry. Especially because it’s so accurate to how asylums were before.

Yeah, while people like to portray the world being full of evil and corruption, I know from experience that there are actually those who are good. Some people legitimately do good things to help others. My guess is corruption and negativity just draws more attention.

To be honest, I can't help but feel bad for Anthony due to the cruelty he has been enduring despite Hollow's best efforts to save him from his suffering, to the point where a desperate Hollow has to trade her eyes to reset to the current timeline.

@@thelethalcreator2077 He was actually feigning compassion whereas in reality, he truly intends to have Anthony as part of his 'collection' (having him killed), thus he sent Anthony to prevent Fig from poisoning him to death, so that he could further accomplish his plan.

You can see that Boris showed no concern over Anthony in the second reality, and plans to lobotomize him, which also foreshadows his true nature.

Also I think my favorite Imaginary Friends in this game have gotta be Pooky and Hollow. I'm surprised no one talks about how their creators (Annabelle and Anthony respectively) are the opposite genders of each other's imaginary friends. Most of the others' imaginary friends are at the same gender as their creators.

The events of The Friends We Left Behind may NOT likely have happened since Hollow reset the timeline to its current reality in an attempt to save Anthony (who is revealed to be the unnamed protagonist in the said game), therefore Anthony and his friends, as well as Hollow and the Imaginary Friends now have their future changed for the better in the end of the game.

I wouldn't say underrated more like nombody really knows about it. It only has like 10 reviews on steam it's a "hidden gem" A fantastic game but there was no advertising for it. Very little word of mouth, So nobody just really knew it existed. The only reason I even found it was when I saw 8BitRyan post it on his channel.

Also *how* powerful can an imaginary friend get? Like there's Hollow turning back time for an exchange! Like *"Imaginary"* is an stretch the size of an 100 football fields plus 1000 Olympic swimming pools and 5 fully decompressed DNA strands (those are VERY long)

Sadly, places like these will never let you go... Until you hit 18 years of age and the state/country stops paying them to hold you in their _'care'._ They'll file reports on everything you do, twist each report's narrative to make you seem even more sick in the head, criminal, whatever they can do to extend your time in custody regardless of your efforts, time and so on spent trying to get better. Try to push your on-site _"therapists/psychologists"_ to actually address your issues and work on them? They'll write and report that you didn't like 'em... And ship you ever further from home. Such institutions are rife with corruption and their _ONLY_ oversight is often their own people. They'll write that you're depressed or angry, chalk it up to a mental disorder instead of a result of your terrible living conditions, prescribe _'anti-depressants'_ and the like which in fact are designed to _'calm'_ you by killing your libido, dampening _ALL_ emotions and so on. _Anything_ they can do to control you; violation of your personhood or nigh personality-death be damned. Whilst there are some good people in such organizations, they're few and far between. Whether it be an asylum, a group home or the like... It's all the same.

Man when the second timeline kicks in... This game gets DARK. FAST! You got to be a REALLY messed up individual to lobotomize a child. Let alone anyone for that matter but especially a child. Was definitely in my mind the darkest part of the game in my eyes seeing Annabelle in the wheelchair... But nobodies home...

I see it’s pretty much all the night time sequences you had to change the audio, which means it’s the nighttime ambience that may be the culprit (so it’s not even a song apparently, odd!). I’ll have to look into it! Thank you again! EDIT: I just uploaded that sound to KZbin in it's own video as a test, but it didn't get flagged for copyright. I wonder if KZbin could have wrongfully copyrighted your video? That stealth section of the game as well as the sound were in the original demo too and it didn't seem to cause any issues back then right? Very odd, I'll keep looking into it and thanks again!
