love everything about this game. its like michael jacksons "leave me alone" video but on a board game lol and i love engine builders as well as worker placement. does anyone know a release date??

Great review. My only wish is that you mentioned the other designer too, Florian Sirieix. He's just as much a contributor to this game as Cathala. To not mention him I think steals his credit and gives it to Cathala.

Hello there!Thank you for the review in an EXTRAORDINARY GAME!! I have a question: if you combine 2or 3 green cards, which of their abilities will you use? If for example your first green card is the shield that protects you from all attacks, and then you gain the other green card that protects only from charcoalium theft. You have to put THAT last card on the top of the other and use only THAT ability or the other card too? And what about if you combine all three cards? Waiting for your answer!! Thank you in advance!

The artwork and theme certainly are interesting. Unfortunately, I think there are other games that do this better from what I'm seeing, despite being the Cathala lover that I am.

Thanks for such informative and interesting review , Action wheel sound as an interesting system to have cuz it gives you choices and freedom to decide , as for art its a truly unique :) likes it very much :) replayablility is very important , and i am happy to hear this game this is con :)

Hey Dan, been looking into new lunch-time games. I noticed that you have World's Fair 1893 rated higher than this one, they seem to fit into the same bucket more or less. Does World's Fair still hold up for you? You still prefer it over this game? Thanks!

I wouldn't call this a lunchtime game due to the length of the game. Even with just two players you're probably looking at about an hour or more. This game is definitely heavier than World's fair. So for lunchtime games, I would say World fair is a better fit and I still think it holds up great and is underrated. I would say this is better as the "meat" of a gamen ight surrounding it with fillers.

The artwork are pretty regular retro euro fairy tale grapic style. For british, france or russian peeple to find pictures like this in childs books it's custom. Have no idea why so many people surprised by it.Don't get me wrong. The visual style are nice but not something very original by euro standards.

Not into the steampunk aesthetic. Too brown and muddled in my opinion.
