When he said that the first time I watched this boss fight on Joseph Witty's livestream, I KNEW on some level that he fought Faye in the past. The quests in the Crater of Vanahiem only proved my theory right and that they did clash. I was so happy I ended up being right.

Frost Giant Axe Vs. Thunder God Hammer, the Axe freezing the Lightning is something that 1st happened when Faye & Thor fought eachother in the past but Thor was drunk at the time so that is why it only felt familiar to him, not quite grasping his memories when it happened again w/ his fight against Kratos.

My favorite part of the first baldur fight in GoW 2018 is when kratos smacks him with a tree. Ragnarok starts with Thor fighting kratos and you are able to pick up the pillars and smack thor with them. I was so happy about that mechanic

i wish developers would put in voicelines for bosses when the main character is avoiding all dmg and kicking ass so it makes it more realistic instead of normal voicelines that make it seem like player is getting his ass kicked lol

Games like this should have alternate dialogues for unavoidable cutscene when the boss didn't gave the player any damage. Because they seem so cocky and arrogant when speaking.. and not impressed or frustrated at all of not hitting the player. Would be a great reward for the player to listen to a alternative enraged dialogue on such cases.

It really lessens the impact of the moment (3:21) considering that you are scripted to lose it, rather than actually having chance to win the clash through skill and determination. It makes the fight feel fake.

Plot armor lets you defeat him, however he seems MUCH stronger than Kratos. Especially his Mijolnir
