Oh dang, a Leisure Suit Larry FMV, that would be something. 😂🤣 Yeah, can't remember, think it was when I was buying the Phantasmagoria games on GOG, saw the Gabriel Knight games, they were cheap, so I picked them up too. I've not played them yet, but I have seen that complete Let's Play of the first game, so was cool to see you continue on with this series. Thank you for this.

It's good to hear that the 3rd time is the charm. I'm looking forward to seeing this complete. 2:04 No arguments from me! 2:15 I've heard that the remake of the first game that they did about 10 years ago was done to see if there was enough interest in the series to warrant a 4th game. When that remake flopped, that killed the chances of there being a 4th game. If that's not true and she is indeed doing this, that's good. 2:21 I agree! 2:45 At one point, we will see a naked torso. That's why this game was rated that way. Other than that, I don't see any problem with a kid playing this game. To be fair, your parents didn't know that... they just see that rating and say "No." That's how that is. 3:46 Strongly disagree! I think this is where they did a Gabriel Knight game perfectly, or nearly so. And Phantasmagoria was their highest-selling game. When they went 3D, THAT'S when they mis-stepped and that was the end of Sierra. The prologue makes you sad when you understand what's going on. You might not get it at first if it's your first time playing. When you've played it before and you know how the story goes, you'll figure out what the prologue is showing and it might make you cry. Interesting that they know about the talisman, when it had been gone for 300 years. Wolfgang never wore it. How did they know about it? 11:17 So Gabriel could see how many people were affected by the girl's death. He's more likely to come if he can see more people being affected. "In case he didn't" is a good answer, too. 11:42 I agree! It's not a popular opinion, but I was never a huge fan of Tim Curry's performance as Gabriel Knight. Legendary actor, but this isn't what he's famous for. His attempt at a Louisiana accent was not good, and some of his lines were delivered in a sexual way when it wasn't warranted, or just not well delivered at all. It wasn't all bad: there are a lot of lines that are very well-read... I liked a lot of his sarcastic comments. But it's not as good as you'd expect from an actor as legendary as him. Dean Erickson did this role better. He was smart enough to not try to imitate Tim Curry: that would have been a disaster. He portrayed Gabriel as a charismatic young rogue, and that's exactly what Gabriel should be. His career doesn't compare to Tim Curry's, but his performance as Gabriel Knight is better than Tim Curry's. 12:55 Great point! I agree. 17:08 I disagree. Gabriel did not need to say any more than he said. If people want to know how Wolfgang dies, they can just play the first game. 20:00 Agreed. The first game had music everywhere, and that was great. That's the one thing about the first game that I think was better than this one. 27:39 They sure did, and I actually like this remix a little bit better than the original. That cop doesn't like Americans who go to other countries and don't learn the language of those countries... and I agree with him. 34:34 No. Fired. I love this game. I might actually prefer it over the first one, and that is not in any way intended as an insult to the first one. The FMV style was great for this game. And even though the acting cast doesn't feature as many legends as the first one, I think the acting is good overall. I really like Kay Kuter (Huber). He had a good career.

I know the old man at the beginning is Kay E. Kuter, he has been a voice actor in some Lucasarts adventures such as Grim Fandango as the casino croupier and Captain Velasco, and the Goopsoup Hotel owner in Curse of Monkey Island.
