The important thing about the mask isn't that's it's Indian. It's where he got it. He got it in Brazil, where the "Manos del Sol" were. That's your first big hint for what you need to know about this guy. The cuckoo clock puzzle is one of the few things I don't like about this game. It's not exactly obvious. The Gabriel Knight series has a few puzzles like this. Then again, the King's Quest series had many puzzles like this and we all loved them. Von Glower is actually one of my favorite characters of all time, in the Gabriel Knight series or in anything else I've ever played or watched. The club philosophy is one of the most fascinating things I have ever heard. And the actor is one of the best actors you will ever find in an FMV game like this. Von Zell's actor does a great job, too. He played the character the way it should be played. If you ask Von Zell if he's heard of the black wolf, he will say "No," but there will be ominous music which hints that he is lying. 39:55 Yes, and there's 2 reasons for that (both of which were mentioned at the beginning of the game): 1. Near the end of the first game, he steals about a million dollars from the hounfour. 2. The success and high sales of his book about the voodoo murders. Previously, he'd spent his entire life avoiding his calling, which is why his life was so financially unsuccessful and miserable. Once he embraced his calling to be a schattenjager, his life turned around. 42:52 Good guess! I was not able to guess that when I first played this. I like Preiss. He teaches you how the concept of morality was invented. This is a great chapter. I enjoy the Gabriel chapters more than the Grace chapters.

Wonder what that guy thought with how quickly you returned the magazine. 😂🤣 So, you split the video, huh? For me, wouldn't be too bad. When a video is near or over a hour, my first thought is, coolness, background for my gaming sessions. 😉 Did enjoy it too. Thank you so very much for this.

The fact that Gabriel said "It wasn't very good, I wouldn't recommend it" should have been a red flag to Von Zell, but fortunately he was not smart enough to look inside the magazine

I remember my game freezing after planting the clock in the pot when I first played this, and what's worse is I didn't save for a while.

you gotta save often in these games, especially the FMV ones. They all freeze eventually if you play them for too long.
