Motorcycle Clutch Replacement - Part 2 - Failure Analysis - Project TDM900

Hello Folks!
In today's video we are putting the clutch assembly on the healing bench!
We will be taking measurements of the clutch and friction plates as well as the springs. Doing so will hopefully answer the question: why was my clutch stuck and do I need to replace it?

my xtz long time stay in garage around 6 months today i start and wehn i put gear start move the drive without i let the clunch.. i thing the oil rizon and stiky ,, i will open to chek thanks...my model xtz 750

@@TheGarage2018 Today I'm going to change the fork oil. Wish me luck ! In a couple of moths I'm going for the clutch. (TDM '06 model 30k miles) Your videos are a nice help.

Go for it dude and good luck. I recommend you get hold of a TDM900 service manual, that’ll help you a lot. I’m glad you find my videos helpful!

@@TheGarage2018 Everything ok ? I already done the clutch. Still out of free play on the cable, even worse cause the new springs are stronger. Think i have a stretched cable... Any solutions ? (Apart of buying a new one)

Thank you for the video, just a small critic. I already watched the first video, and for me the main info is missing. I would start speaking about why we are here. How many kms the clutch has? What are the broken symptoms? A video example of the symptoms and stuff like that...
