I would say the worst thing said by her at 5:43. Bcz currently i m in BSC MATH(HONS) 3rd year 5th sem and i had completed C & PYTHON from mysirg in 1st and 2nd yr and i have C++ in 5th sem. And coding is not only for mugging up the syntax , its all about logical thinking. And everyone knows if u are going for a degree absolutely different from ur UG degree,you have to pay more attention towards it.She has told a lot of extra thing but i am absolutely disagreeing with what she said at 5:43👎. So according to me if you are in MATH(HONS) you can look for MCA absolutely

@@Akar-2000 Yep bro. BSc Maths guys have this unfair advantage for years. I don't think a Maths guy who can't crack NIMCET even deserves to live on Earth 🤣 Just try to walk on our shoes. We(very few of us, I know) are equally as competent as our engineering counterparts, here doing 12th maths being unable to get a seat in NITs despite having all skills to be already industry ready. Be it DS Algo or anything, we have to relinquish all our CS stuff, competitive programming (I was a 3* on Codechef and Specialist on Codeforces, now haven't participated in a single contest for the sake of this entrance exam), open source contribution (sad to see my miserable contribution graph on GitHub), missing hackathons, fests and everything. The exam pattern was set in 1990s to allow students of every discipline to get into software jobs to meet the growing demands of the country that time. And Mathematics was a good subject almost every student had and a good prerequisite to test someone's ability to think logically. The exam pattern is erroneously outdated. One who is good at coding indirectly means he/she is good at Mathematics. Why do we have to do that all over again. It would be far more justified if NITs would take admissions in two modes, one using the Math entrance, another CS core subjects, DS, coding and stuff that matters. This would even skyrocket placements. :) -Nikhil, a BSc CS guy (As the society judges, Inko toh kuch nahi aata, BTech walon ko hi aata hai) unfortunate enough who couldn't get into engineering

@@brilltwoant27 whatever you have said,few are absolutely correct & few of those dont make any sense. 1st of all, those students who are enrolled in BSC MATHS absolutely all are not jiant in MATHS and in BSC MATHS,most of the main subjects are absolutely theory based and For NIMCET if u r not practicing the 11,12 maths+jee mains then you might not crack it and most importantly speed,accuracy is the key to crack NIMCET. Not that like u r from BSC MATHS, you can easily crack it. 2nd thing, I am absolutely agreeing that you have all skills but you couldnot use it to grab a dream company bcz most of the A grade companies are only coming to NITs & IITs. So it is a prerequisite to get a tier 1 college for grabing placement in that company and for that only you have to prepare for NIMCET although you have skills in coding. 3rd, it is absolutely unfair to those who belong to ur background as before MCA was 3 yrs,so it was absolutely wastage of one yr for students who were from CS background, that's why it all becomes 2 yrs now( happy # problem solved)😏😂 4th, you have said about entrance exam pattern( For other background maths+ etc, and for cs background cs stuffs+etc)😂😂.Bro if that happens, that wont deserve any sense. So here i am not at all comparing between cs and others as i am also a part of it and preparing for NIMCET😁 So frankly i am just saying that what she has said in the whole video is absolutely correct but at 5:43 it is not applicable to all the students those are from other background, some of them also have a prior knowlege about cs otherwise the video content is all fine. And coming to u , as you have said you have all skills, 3*in codechef and you are looking for other CP contest.So you need not to worry for ur dream company , you will absolutely grab any.The only stage is the entrance,so ALL THE BEST👍👍
