Please just to add after listening to Rhoda at the end of the video from the Ghanaian Fisheries and Aquaculture Dept - thank you Rhoda for your comments..... Dr Rhoda Lims Diye is a scientist from the govt Fisheries and Aquaculture Dept - Thanks Rhoda for these .... Wish to constructively highlight some of what you said from this.... On monitoring water quality: "The fishermen ? are trying their best but it is not up to the expected standard... most farmers do not test for water quality that they use in their production... and this is really affecting them .." Then regarding the widespread outbreaks of fish diseases in Ghana..... actually since 2016 .... Streps and ISKN ... Rhoda mentions .... "The link between water quality and pathogen load on the farms... " and goes on to say ..... "Farmers have to work hand in hand with "the experts" on fish diseases and water quality ... " And ... " A consultant ? will help you (fish farmers) on a daily basis in terms of aquatic animal health , fish diseases and water quality ... " Please with respect Rhoda - firstly would ask please for the govt if rather than just stating what the fish farmers are not doing ... you the govt can tell us all what constructively and positively the govt / Fisheries Aquaculture and Veterinary ministries have been doing to help and support the Ghanaian fish farmers since the first serious disease outbreaks around 2016.... Also please when you talk about "pathogen loads " in relation to water in/ on the various fish farms across Ghana ... cages in the lake , land based farms and hatcheries .... you please also mention that still currently and since 2016 there is no fully operational govt fish diseases diagnostic laboratory in Ghana that fish farmers can go to to get their fish samples tested for potential pathogens .... except for perhaps the top ten commercial companies who are can afford to send their samples outside of Ghana to be tested ..... Please as you know this is a key issue for an industry that lost over USD 100 million to fish diseases in the last 6 years and along with this 100s of Ghanaians lost their jobs throughout the value chain .... private sector people lost this ... not govt ... So please Rhoda and constructively - positively - as you can hear Evans talking in the video - please could you / govt in Ghana publicise and let people know what the actual whole position is on the ground is and also about what positively what the govt is trying to do to help and support fish farmers and what it needs to do in the future ? ... the Fish Health Unit ..... 4 new govt veterinarians in regional coverage - bans on movement of live fish ? both from outside Ghana ? effectiveness or not ? customs and borders ? And the ban within the country moving live fish from the lake Volta catchment area to fish farmers in the rest of Ghana ? And how yourselves as govt are trying to implement this - also in terms of expected standards you quote ..... would welcome hearing within govt extension research regulatory and policy levels how many of these govt staff have actual commercial sector experience in aquaculture ? - Would welcome too please for all the Ghanaian fish farmers the govts long awaited guidelines ... still not published and open access ? - on biosecurity for the Ghanaian aquaculture sector - Many thanks Will

Enyonam, you usually do not mention the location of the farms or what region or town the farms are located? Is there any kind of confidentiality agreement linked to that?
