Sydney's new character is so amazing... feels like exactly what the party needed. And I'm just so profoundly sad this show is ending. Such mixed emotions watching this, but I also completely understand not being excited about a campaign, which is a feeling you need to respect. I'm sure my sadness will turn to excitement once we find out what's next, but for now, I just want to throw in my appreciation for GCP running Gatewalkers specifically. I discovered GCP last year through it, and I've loved the entire ride.

I understand a lot of folks,maybe including the players, don’t like this campaign but it has had some of the most amazing moments of both triumph and tragedy and the whole plot is very compelling to me so I’m very sad that it’s ending. It seems that people underestimate some of the playing moments that have happened.

😂😂 I cant wait for the SA orgy art. I also adore the Philly poster. I just want you all to know that I enjoy everything the Naish puts out. Listening to you guys have fun together brings joy to me every day. If the players aren't enjoying Gatewalkers, then I understand retiring it and trying something new. That happens in home games, too. But I will say, as far as the Fandom goes, I can remember when many were complaining about the Demons blood and how they disliked Della, when many complained about the Skirkatla fight, and who can forget about the Drift Rock episodes of A&A -- even the players complained about the difficulty of the beginning of that AP. Now when you look back, you will see many of those moments on peoples favorite or most epic moments list. It's just a pattern I noticed on reddit. Anyway, who knows what the future holds. What i do know is that you guys are awesome at telling stories and I'm here for every single one of them. ❤

I just enjoy hearing this group together so much! Kate’s sigh really was one of the best reactions I’ve heard to an introduction. Troy has kind of left the future of this specific journey uncertain for now, and I get where he’s coming from, but it will be sad to see these characters go if/when that time comes

Naish For Life but I'm not gonna lie, watching Troy run PF2E is hella frustrating. I was preferring the Delta Green campaign for a long time for that reason. (I mean, watching Troy run things is *great*, this is just relative to him running other things.) I feel like Syd's multiple character deaths were at the very least not inevitable, and probably avoidable, if Hero Points were being used as-written. Which, you know... really kind of a core part of the system's design and balance and "bottle caps" are not a replacement. I would understand forgetting about them a bit, b/c we all do that, but systematically avoiding them is something else. Would have loved this AP if it really *was* a supernatural investigation AP -- in which Brother Ramias would have fit perfectly -- but it's useful information to learn that it's absolutely not that. So that's something. Looking forward to GCP's next adventure.

For me it was really disappointing seeing the supernatural investigation morph into a monster of the week show. The encounters feel really forced and the story seems to be going nowhere. Plus the characters have very little agency which is sad because I like all of them.

Man, so bummed out about the news. I don't really interact with the community so i didn't know i'm appearently in the minority in liking this campaign, but still, this has been my first contact with with pf2e and the GCN (other than a few one-shots during covid) and has become my "main" live play to watch, so it's sad to think it won't have a proper ending. I admit i didn't really care for the plot, but i love the characters (both pcs and npcs) and hoped to spend more time with them. That said, if you guys are not enjoying playing through this AP is understandable that you don't wanna keep going. I'm sure I'll love what'll come next, and I still have to watch the vast majority of your old stuff, so i'm here for the ride :) Love you, keep being awesome

​@@juliojaray7301actually, with a five person party it's closer to easy mode. It's just Pl+2 always hurts at low levels. They really should be reserved for boss fights or combat where the PCs have some kind of edge. . Later levels it becomes much easy to deal with PL+2 Paizo has been criticized for filling most their APs with a lot of single monster encounters that tend to feel sloggish and unfair on the party. It's easily remedied thanks to how good 2e encounter math is, but Troy always wants to run things by the book even to the detriment of the show.

Very sad to see Gatewalker's go, but I had a feeling it was heading that way. REALLY hope to see this same group back for another PF2e campaign right on this one's heels. My suggestions for what comes next are: 1. Hero Points - I think this one has shown that lacking Hero Points doesn't make for better viewing or fun. They are built into the system to allow heroic feeling moments and to mitigate bad luck streaks. Standard games give everybody 1 at the beginning of a session (so probably every other episode) and suggest giving 1 out every hour as a reward for good RPing, fun moments, etc. 2. Run Recall Knowledge by RAW and let the person ask a question on a success (2 on crit success). This is VERY useful to allow casters to feel good about spell choice when they can ask what the creature's worst save is for the target. 3. Bring a Kineticist...no reason except they are very fun to RP and every group is better with a Kineticist :) 4. Season of Ghosts is a great AP with a lot of RP moments and world building with NPCs you get to know throughout the campaign. It is also considered one of the easier ones from a combat perspective (could use beefing up in that area for my tastes, but might be what the group would like after Gatewalkers) 5. I don't know much about it from a personal perspective, but Curtain Call could be fun if you want to run a high level campaign, that is another with lots of RP moments. 6. Please keep the energy of this group. I tune in every week near release time because you guys are so entertaining! P.S. please say Hubert's change is temporary. I love fun Hubert and considering he lost his brothers, sisters, mother, and everybody he loved before, I'm hoping he can bounce back from Asta's loss quickly.

The news during the Stae of the Naish was so amazing, new season of TFC, more GITT in the future, Troy's Home-Brew AP! So looking fwd to '25. ❤ Then, the bomb drop.....C2 Gatewalkers is not going to carry on. 😥😥. I love this campaign! The storyline is so compelling and every Thursday, I anticipate 5pm rolling around to try and catch the release. 😀 Love a good mystery. I completely understand though, for a lot of folks, this story hasn't grabbed their attention, or hasen't held to their expectations of traditional AP. So they want more. C'est La Vie. For me, while Gatewalkers is still running, I will relish every laugh, drink in every detail, and enjoy every moment with the cast and the story that they unfold. Here's to you, TROY, JOE, SKID, SYD, and KATE! (and everyone else in the crew behind the scenes) Salute. While Asta was still alive, I thought it would be kinda neat if Syd would somehow get to play Hubert the Bard, and get some mileage from her musical improv class. And here we are, even if in a much sadder way. The look on Joe's face after Syd was done singing, she might change his stance on bards yet :) I still would love to see a Hubert the Bard one shot, a Christmas/Valentines/whatever gimmick could be pretty entertaining. edit: I like the background colour, did Troy say 'make it look like the inside of a Christmas tree'?

Interesting thing about die rolling and statistics. Every time you roll the same d20, the chance of getting a 1 is 1 in 20. Statistical improbability only plays a factor if you are rolling multiple d20s simultaneously, then the chances of all coming up 1 is (1/20)^n

Real talk, just thought of this idea watching tbe new character introduction - once the party said what just happened to their previous party member, Gick should have just been like, "Oh, nope, nope, I'm not going to be around you people, that sounds way too dangerous" and then just left and refused to ever speak to them again. Just a long ploy joke and introduce her real character a bit later.

In Troy's state of the naish he said that due the mixed reception and how the table feels, Gatewalkers will end early next year to be replaced by something new, yet to be determined. Strange Aeons is going to be a once a month all day play long form content. The new Live Tour will be a Troy Homebrew to the theme of an undead giant slayers 2. Time for Chaos is also confirmed a 3rd season to start sometime early summer.
