Seeing Rob’s excitement for Ross pulling off the move to get to the library was great! You can see his investment into the story and he is surely entertained as much as we are-he is truly enjoying this as much as we are in the audience! Rob’s Carter is such a great character in this as well as he is putting forward an arc for us to see him develop. Bravo to Troy for throwing curveballs from the backstories and making them living and breathing-so far from static footnotes forgotten! Thank you Glass Cannon for such enthralling content and for the inspiration as I will be running a Masks campaign here shortly in the next few weeks. 😅

Troy's scene setting is so good, so cinematic, that I actually imagine this in black and white with 1920s German Expressionist lighting. Also, Kate's facial expressions make the cliffhangers work.

This is actually the most chill episode I think of the series so far. It's still a phenomenal episode because the cast is so amazing. Ross and Noura really shine this time. But this is more of puzzle pieces snapping into place episode than an "OMG, there's a monster in a pit! Don't read that book!" like we've had the last few. The change of pace was nice. And just remember that when this goes on hiatus to take time out to yell things at Troy for his cliffhangers so you don't get out of practice. Oh, YOU NEED TO DUCK MARGOT!!!!!!!

gotta love when the keeper brings out a Haunting Horror. My keeper only brought one out when we ventured into ancient ruins in the mountaints with some military back up. still a tough fight but, we somehow killed it with some lucky rolls and lots of guns. think one or two redshirt NPCs died. My keeper claims to not like Pulp Cthulhu but its somtimes feels like it xD
