With the right soya sauce a cat will eat all sorts of vegetables. There are cats at monasteries that don't touch meat, cats being obligate carnivore is a human opinion. If you search monk cat you should be able to find such things. Why I mention this, because we were promised a Golden Age in Isaiah 11:6-9, however that cannot come about unless we stop eating meat ourselves as well as teaching animals to eat their own brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of God. Even the fishes in the sea are life.

​@@TheGohanAndCats is it safe to give the cats this much tuna? This much tuna would even be bad for a human, because of the huge amount of mercury and other toxic heavy metals in the tuna. Let alone for a creature as small as a cat that's much much smaller than a human, where it takes much much less mercury to kill them, because they're so small. As long as they only get tuna once in a while, like one meal of tuna every few weeks, then hopefully it'll be OK. But definitely not more than once a week. Fingers crossed. You're a saint for feeding them, regardless. People who help animals be as happy and healthy and well fed as possible, are genuinely angels. So thank you for being the best kind of person. You are the most human human being.

If someone created the system where animals are forced to kill others to survive, which includes great suffering for their prey, the "creator" is not a loving entity. Or you think the tuna fish served to the cats enjoyed this.. they lost their own life. If the cats didnt get the tuna, they would need to hunt for mice or little birds. Interesting how at the beginning the adult cats, by and large, take a piece of fish from the plate to eat a little distance away. Whereas some of the kittens remain at the plate.

I think because the kittens are not confident or strong enough to defend their food on their own, so it's safer to just stay with the big plate where there is plenty. The adults know the score, so can just eat in peace.
