Listening and praising God on KZbin because there are too many distractions and choices for a choir like this from days of old! Love listening to this, too!

love seeing a choir that is dressed holy and no flashy jewelry... just praising God, not for a show but in the beauty of Holiness

What's so "holy" about what they have on? That's the problem right there. To busy worried about the dress code and not the MESSEGE

I was 26 years old at the time, singing soprano that evening. This was the first live recording I had ever done. This was an amazing experience for me. The countless rehearsals to get such a quality sound was worth it. Looking back at this video today at 49 years old now. Now I recognize where I knew certain people from. It was this mass choir! I have the VHS of this recording.Lol 😂 Thank you for posting so I can show my sons this video. And Thanks James Bignon for the opportunity.

Sad. In this hour of the church that we have to use the word "real" when the scriptures say, "Jesus Christ the same today, yesterday and forevermore." It says much about the state of this professing era of the church. When ppl return to God, He will return back to them - as He told Israel in the Old Testament.

This is a song that is Holy Ghost led because the director and musicians had to follow the lead singer who was being led by God. He was an annointed singer.

James did live in Augusta before moving to Atlanta. His singers were god's Children James organized a 100 voice choir in the 80's I had the opportunity to sing in that choir and led a song. James has been an inspiration to us here in Augusta. The program was televised to be on PBS. It was standing room only at the Antioch Baptist Church. What a time we had that night.

Because the primary director was James Bignon. The "director" was following Bro. Bignon's lead.
