It was a decent promo. Anyone who thought he was going to start shooting on Tony and the Bucks are crazy and spend too much time online. The rebellious attitudes, People like the elite feeling they are number 1, and needing to be on top all the time. Just like punk did. With how he said there's a lot of over superstars in WWE right now, especially on Raw, it's hard to pick who should hold the belt next. It'll definitely be a crazy Royal Rumble this year, I don't doubt it. Sami, Cody, Drew, CM Punk, Gunther, Jey, L.A Knight, and Damian Priest are all possible candidates to win the Rumble, Nakamura as well. The women's tho... It's really only down to Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill if they're that bold to choose her, or my most anticipated choice, Bailey. After carrying the company on her back in the first half of 2020 once the pandemic started, becoming Dmg Ctrl's MVP in the war games match, helping Iyo with her title reign and elevating her and Dakota, she definitely deserves that big win in the Rumble. I don't want the over pushed stars to get the win.

There's a reason he isn't donning tights and wearing a shirt. Apparently, he just signed with WWE on Saturday afternoon and was a free agent for several weeks before that. It's pretty clear that not only have the writers had no time to write him into the various storylines they have going on, but it's also clear to me that CM Punk isn't even in good enough shape to put on a real match quite yet. I'd say give him the next month to acclimate himself to his new environment while the writers figure out how to develop a character like CM Punk in 2024.

I liked that promo he took a shot af seth rollins as well, if you remember when he was fired by aew seth said that ‘his efforts giving 100% makes me the best in the world’ and then punk in his first promo said their efforts to be the best is false it was a direct shot to what seth said. He also mentioned ‘being feared man’ as tony khan feared for his life. So in that promo he didn’t name drop people to clarify what he said but when you think about it feel the gaps the picture is clear. Punk openly discussed that wrestling fans are smarter than people gave them credit for, so he gave a chance to read between the lines and fill the gaps, also they are building up for something this wasn’t a fiery promo but weirdly enough there is something right about seeing punk in wwe

I find the promo fine, basically the Bray Wyatt returning promo from last year but a bit shorter and until a rivalry kicks off, I think it'll continue in a similar manner to Bray's. (Hope it doesn't lead to a promo on a PLE that could have just been on a show or was a previous promo that was reworded) I'm pretty sure most of the hatred is out of a result of overhyping, CM Punk's status as a star, and stuff like that over not being patient. Don't think the long booking is an issue since it's been a thing for over a year now. (And those who can't get it at this point, I doubt they ever will.) And honestly, just saying "be patient" as a counter is just not that great since people are concerned about wasting time and losing interest. Hell, you were there losing interest with many missed Raw videos with the major reason being the same shit with Judgement Day vs Cody, Sami and other repeating faces over and over again.

Punk vs Rollins at Rumble. Priest calls his shot at elimination chamber and cashes in on Rollins. If he wins, Drew vs Priest wrestlemania 40. If not, Rollins vs Drew. Drew wins either way. Gives him reason to stay with the company not to mention TKO having more reason to throw more money to keep him. Rollins after mania will go on break to work on his back and spend time with his family. Same can happen with Becky is she faces and loses to Rhea at Wrestlemania. Both can return around summerslam. I know people are saying main event at Wrestlemania for Punk. But I think he’ll be put in a smaller match for the overwhelming story of the bloodline so far with Punk vs Solo at mania with Paul in Solos corner but can’t choose between the two. (This will also isolate and keep Roman with no help against Cody in night 2) WWE and TKO will do this to see if Punk has changed and will be willing to work a full calendar year to build to his Wrestlemania main event at the next one. Perhaps gets a redo at Summer of Punk and build someone up for him to face for night 1 main event at 41. If Punk accepts and does this with no arguing for a full calendar year and trust HHH process of slow story telling then he’ll be one of the guys moving forward with his long contract that was said to not have many guarantees in the next coming years. They’ll become guarantees if his attitude truly has changed.

According to reports two big matches wwe is planning for Wrestlemaina from raw are punk vs rollins and randy vs drew, imo punk vs rollins is already one of the biggest matches possible and it doesn’t have to be for the whc, rather they can have seth lose to randy or maybe drew with punk costing the match to seth and in return seth costing punk the rumble match starting their heated feud. And either randy or drew would win the rumble and challenge for the title. Imo drew should win t rumble again using heel tactics and randy should win the belt at rumble, then at mania randy could drop the title to drew thatway we can have him finally get his moment in front of a live audience at the grandest stage.

It wasn't about CM Punk not taking shots at AEW and Tony. In hindsight, it's a good thing that he didn't do that. (As a fan, I would not have minded that at all lol!) It's just that this didn't seem like CM Punk's character. This promo was very reminiscent of a John Cena/Pre pandemic Roman Reigns/Cody Rhodes promo lol. The main thing is he wasn't direct in his promo about WHY he even returned. I get people think he's a hypocrite, and he didn't have to mention that either. However, it was obvious to all fans that he insulted this company after he was let go. And he even continued to insult the WWE when he got hired by AEW. There's just a small void in his promo where he can at least explain why he's back. Saying that he loves and misses everyone doesn't really do anything for anyone. This just seemed more like a corporate Punk rather than...CM Punk. And yes, more than likely things will heat up especially towards WM season, but to have us wait 3 hours for 5 minutes of that was kind of uncalled for lol.

He gave a great speech. He said what he said. Punk did it like the old days. He even motivated me with that speech. I even started to tear up after the I am Home part. Almost 10 years in the making and he really came home. Randy also had a great speech and I can't wait to see him RKO Rhea someday. She deserves it. He even kicked Doms A*s and what a beating he got.

I mean it was a cool raw after all but cm punks promo wasn’t disappointing he said what he would do in the future i mean it was a good promo for the first promo he did when he came back

With RAW roster so stacked for the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION It feels kinda similar to early 2000's and everyone had a legit shot at the World Heavyweight Title Raw just leveled up And Roman feels irrelevant Seth, Orton, Punk, Cody, Drew, Nakamura, Finn, even Gunther in the future have legit shot for the title Jey, Sami, and Damien with the MITB briefcase

Roman really does feel irrelevant at the moment, I do like him but I think it's almost time for him to drop the title

I agree. Too many options for WHC. Which is in by no means a bad thing. WWE is EXCELLENT again. Now we just need an ACTUAL badass heel that's a threat.. Hmm 🤔 I dunno... Maybe Karion freaking Kross?! C'mon peeps.

This was really good. It was a great stragety to keep people watching and now it gets us excited for the next episode of Raw.

Honestly this is a far ass stretch but I'm calling this, reacted like everything was really okay to Damien but really within the next couple months we're going to see Randy take over the judgment Day and Damien turn face with the briefcase or hes going to elevate damian and the breifcase kinda like daniel Bryan situation? Far ass stretch but idk where else he fits atm and it can get finn vs Damien for WM
