The red light is only a case by case. I’ve been using a red light on my 8 month old Sulcatas and they never stay awake or try to eat the substrate or anything that’s not food. They’re dead sleep until the timer shuts it off and turns the UVA/B lights

It depends from owner to owner and tortoise to tortoise. Everyone has their methods and in terms of heating you have loads of options. Personally, my tortoises do well with red heat bulbs as well 😊

I really love your videos i do have one small complaint it's actually something I do myself alot in-between sentences you say uh alot or like an inbetween noise this is perfectly normal but I did notice this anyway thanks for the super informative video
