2nd great grandpa had 2 slaves,a man and wife. The man lived to be 100 and has a tombstone and is buried in the same graveyard as he is. The woman lived to her 90s. They were both instrumental in the raising of my ancestors children and considered as part of the family. I know this was probably an exception and any slavery is wrong but evidently they were treated much better than you would expect for which I am grateful.

Because they pray and observe every part of the commandments and laws but refuse to show poor people love, they take bribes to overturn justice and because of that God deprived them of his wisdom so that when He sent his begotten son Jesus to them, they didn't believe or recognize him. Therefore Jesus told the religious leaders and priests to their faces that their share will be destruction only because they lack love, justice and wisdom.
