So are you trying to say that all rich people don't know what it is to be the common man. Yet people like you tout the socialist ideology of a rich man in Karl Marx. Who was disowned by his rich family for being lazy. At one point was taken care of by a rich friend. Whose son died from starvation and daughter committed suicide. Who's more corrupt in Congress between the Republicans and the Democrats? " When comparing criminal indictments of those serving in the executive branch of presidential administrations it's so lopsided as to be ridiculous. Yet all I ever hear is how corrupt the Democrats are. So why don't we break it down by president and the numbers. Obama (D) - 8yrs in office. zero criminal indictments, zero convictions and zero prison sentences. so the next time somebody describes the Obama administration as "scandal free" they aren't speaking wishfully, they're simply telling the truth. Bush, George W. (R) - 8yrs in office. 16 criminal indictments. 16 convictions. 9 prison sentences. Clinton (D) - 8yrs in office. 2 criminal indictments. one conviction. one prison sentence. that's right nearly 8yrs of investigations. tens of millions spent and 30yrs of claiming them the most corrupt ever and there was exactly one person convicted of a crime. Bush, George H. W. (R) - 4yrs in office. one indictment. one conviction. one prison sentence. Reagan (R) - 8yrs in office. 26 criminal indictments. 16 convictions. 8 prison sentences. Carter (D) - 4yrs in office. one indictment. zero convictions and zero prison sentences. Ford (R) - 2 1/2 yrs in office. one indictment and one conviction. one prison sentence. Pardoned Richard Nixon. Nixon (R) - 6yrs in office. 76 criminal indictments. 55 convictions. 15 prison sentences. Johnson (D) - 5yrs in office. zero indictments. zero convictions. zero prison sentences. So, let’s see where that leaves us. in the last 53 years Democrats have been in office for 25 of those years while Republicans held it for 28. in their 25yrs in office Democrats had a total of three executive branch officials indicted with one conviction and one prison sentence. That's one whole executive branch official convicted of a crime in two and a half decades of Democrat leadership. In the 28yrs that Republicans have held office over the last 53yrs they have had a total of (a drum roll would be more than appropriate), 120 criminal indictments of executive branch officials. 89 criminal convictions and 34 prison sentences handed down. That's more prison sentences than years in office since 1968 for Republicans. If you want to count articles of impeachment as indictments (they aren't really but we can count them as an action), both sides get one more. However, Clinton wasn't found guilty while Nixon resigned and was pardoned by Ford. So, those only serve to make Republicans look even worse. With everything going on with Trump and his people right now, it's a safe bet Republicans are gonna be padding their numbers a bit real soon. So let's just go over the numbers one more time shall we. 120 indictments for Republicans. 89 convictions and 34 prison sentences. Those aren't "feelings" or "alternate facts" those are simply the stats by the numbers. Republicans are, and have been for my entire lifetime, the most criminally corrupt party to hold the office of the presidency.

To all of these commenters here saying "mimimimi they called us far right" - we could call you the unicorn squad for all I care, but that wouldn't help you either. Just like when far right extremists invented the terms "alt-right", "white-nationalist", "anti-Zionist" etc. to distance themselves from Nazis, people would quickly figure out what you really are, and you'd be back to square one. And then you'd be sitting here saying "stop calling us the unicorn squad, that's ridiculous, we're not hateful unicorn squadrons, you're just intolerant and ignorant and trying to silence our perfectly reasonable opinions, muh free speech, were actually in the giraffe team or whatever" If you want to avoid the negative connotations that come with being a hate group, then you should probably just stop being hateful. You silly geese. Far-right is just a description, and in this case quite an accurate one in my opinion. The fact that it has a negative connotation and you feel the need to distance yourself from it, is not our fault, it's just a result of the nature of your beliefs.

It is my duty as a citizen of the West to defend its values against all enemies. This makes me an enemy of fascism, whether Euro- or Islamo-. Which makes this video such a tragic misstep. It highlights the failures of Western liberalism, and thus constitutes an unintentional threat to my sacred values. We can do better than this, brothers and sisters, to oust the ghosts of fascism forevermore. My take on this video is this: 1) The interviewer comes off as a self-righteous narcissist who wants to be some kind of a hero. 2) Trying to play "Gotcha!" with populists is not going to work. 3) It's hypocritical to pretend to be a neutral journalist while simultaneously playing the Michael Moore game. 4) Some hard-hitting questions were luckily included as well. 5) It is nigh-impossible to talk about neo-fascism to young people or ordinary voters today with any conviction or power, since a) most people have forgotten the lessons of the the 1930s-1950s, or b) they have a cartoonish "Dr. Evil" conception of Fascism, or c) they don't understand the "little man" appeal of fascism. 6) This video is designed to make Guardian readers and urban elites feel good about themselves, which ironically only increases the resentment of the "little man," reduces social cohesion and unity, and lays the groundwork for increased populism and neo-fascism. 7) The populist groundswell is far from over, and this video is a good explanation of why.

This reporter seems to be smarter than that in general, but under pressure he falls back into that mentality and the report suffers greatly for it.
@Unbiased321
@Unbiased321 5 жыл бұрын
Very good interviewer but I think he misses some vital points about the right-wing movement in Europe. The fast rise of right-wing parties in Europe is a response to the mass immigration of Muslims that hold values about human rights and women that are far away from western values. If the mass immigration had come from China there wouldn't be a problem because it's NOT about race at all. It's about the ideas and values of a particular group. Europeans are for the most part very respectful even towards those who hold values we don't agree with. We have opened our doors to everyone for decades and in principle, most right-wing Europeans think that's a good thing because values can change over time. However, when you start importing so many people that they start to form their own cities the adaptation to western values STOP. This is what the right-wing movement objects to and this is what it wants to fight. The left is totally right when pointing out that not all people in the right-wing movement are good people but you can't point to individual peoples actions and claim that their actions speak for the whole movement. You have to have a broader analysis of what happening to really understand the movement.

Frost wedging occurs as the result of 9 % expansion of water when it is converted to ice. Cracks filled with water are forced further apart when it freezes.This expansion is the cause of water pipes bursting in the winter when it is too cold. Rocks have crevices that gets filled with water, in these crevices there are joints that have cracks that were caused by plate tectonics. Frost wedging occurs in climates that are cool all year around and freezing and thawing occurs constantly in most parts of Atlantic Canada.
