Therefore I will no longer request that safety measures be put in place to protect the guards and horses because it is so evident that the highest officers overseeing these events have no regard or respect for the horses or the guards under their command
@shawnajensen7595 Жыл бұрын
You have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. If changes are being implemented, just remember it takes a lot of time, paperwork, and money before it can even be approved to begin the necessary changes. These horses are well loved and very well cared for. If the horses or their guardsmen were in eminent danger, the armed police are right there, not to mention the Kings Guards ARE VERY WELL TRAINED MILITARY OFFICERS!
@sandradavis18 Жыл бұрын
Marilyn, I looked up who is the highest ranking officer in the Kings Horse Guards. It is King Charles then Princess Anne and another gentleman. Perhaps a letter to Princess Anne as Colonel of the Regiment of the Household Calvary might get some action. I agree with you about the lack of response from the commanding officers.
@anndenovan9026 Жыл бұрын
If you mean safety measures by putting up barriers, then that is not a good idea, you have no doubt watched videos on here where the horse can get spooked and shoot out of the arch, so not a good idea to put anything in front of them.
@whdbnrm3023 Жыл бұрын
with all due respect. I understand your concern but any change in safety detail could create a negative reaction to the tourism industry. These people bring a lot of money to the local economy as well as to the palace. The horses are well taken care of and show no sign of being stressed or depressed. Would you prefer locking up the palace and nobody gets to go see it? No need for guards or horses, everybody loses.
@SylviaHopkins-y6p Жыл бұрын
The armed police should be more visible at the front of horse box. Also give arms to the foot soldiers to stand with horse and guard change them hourly also Paint red lines to form a box Post big signs to not enter box. I’m sure this nowadays is a priority safety issue
