@paulfuller89856 жыл бұрын
Hi Tehilla , I first heard this song in about 1972 or something . I like what you said about the bass . When Jim , the bass player, comes in with Burton's electric piano it makes a great counterpoint , very harmonic . It is a very nicely produced song . The whole album is great .

Lets not forget to mention the bands entire 14 ( RCA ) album career producer Jack Richardson . Jack believed in the groups potential so strongly he mortgaged his home in 1969 to get the band to ( RCA ) New York studios to record These Eyes . Burton Cummings said " we never found out about this very gutsy move by Jack until years later ." All the chart success by the Guess Who might not have happened if not for the will of Mr . Richardson to see this band achieve their dream . As I like to say Winnipeg , Manitoba , was home and they rocked the world .

One of the greatest songs of the 70's! What a great era for music!! This song was regularly played on LM Radio (Mozambique) throughout the 70s.

Classic Guess Who. What a special band, so many great songs. I'm loving hearing all these songs again. Burton solo was equally fantastic.

This came on at work today and I was blown away and I started unconsciously shaking my ass. Had to come to KZbin and see who it was. I was born in 1980 but love this music.

It's not quite 4:30 in the morning. I was just checking out some of Guess Who's music. I wasn't expecting this song to explain exactly what I'm feeling right now. Definitely needed this, and what a beautiful song.

Grew up in Canada in the seventies with this music, blasting from a convertible 68 GTX with my girlfriend next to me going to go party. Those were the days.

As the sunshine came down in May of 69, they had thier first number one hit. I was 16 and drove a Vespa 150 scooter. I only had my learners permit! Life was so much fun! This iconic song made it better
