The problem with this game is the jockey system. Its too OP. Example: When you dribble, you change direction like Messi. The defender turns FASTER than the player who makes the first move. Another example: When you dribble and you beat the defender for a second. Because of the jockey system the defender can run side and backwards. For all the people who don’t see it. Try run side or backwards in a 1 vs 1. Its very strange this is never a discussion point from gamers. Change the jockey system and you will get a different more REALISTIC gameplay.

You do realize that in spite of all this the actual standing tackle to win the ball is still Rng and quite frankly still the most frustrating challenge in an encounter . So in essence renders this whole jockeying act of being "Over Powered" not being as beneficial/ advantageous as you 're making it to be

@@nysic1234 don't talk about realism in a game filled with spammed step over acceleration boost and eltornado crosses here and there all over the pitch. Its quite obvious that realism has been thrown out the window along time ago. Now the only thing worth fighting for is for a sense of balance in the aspects of user controlled attacking and defending.

@@krys0ll218 there is no stepover acceleration anymore, skill moves are realistic. The only thing people never do it on the field, on the streets the moves are very normal. There is also a skill moves error invented so you can’t so multiple skill moves in one run. But then again. You try doin multiple skill moves in real life vs running side or backwards af FULL speed. We already know what its “more” realistic.

@@krys0ll218 And, I play in division 1 for a while. Nobody uses skill moves or el tornado crosses. Only pass, pass, boring jockey defending, pass, pass Make the jockey defending less OP, and the game will be more realistic.

When i jockey it feels so manual and it takes forever to change direction, also my tackles don't lock on to the defender, whereas my opponent has all the AI assistance and they can move faster than the speed of my passes. Do you know any way to fix this or is this what happens in delayed gameplay?

Could have to do with delay. You can try out the fast jockey with L2+R2 or LT+RT on Xbox. With that you are more agile. Tackles have to do a lot with the correct timing. :) - CruZzAve

@@samijay3348 never use x when you defend, try to push your opponent to ineffective areas. The Guide explains it very well in complete defender positioning guide tutorial

U can do that type of pressure if u are in a country where EA has servers , if u play at 33-34 ms u cant change the players so fast or is changing to the wrong player so this tutorial is useless if u play with lag , enjoy because u live in a country with EA servers. :)

With the tackle button you can push/pull when you are behind or on the side of an opponent in a running duel. But you don't need to spam it, pressing it a couple of times but therefore a bit longer works better probably. - CruZzAve

Hi man . I got a question for you. Do you know why I’m playing worse and worse every day? In fifa 20 I hit elite 3 and I only played full wl like 3-4 times. This year until tots I played till g3 only (no point playing more) and was doing 14-1 14-2 max . I was on fire every weekend. Almost 2200 sp In dr. Now I have 15 mil coins team and my record is 9-5. I can’t defend and attack. I simply forgot how to play. What the hell happened and how can I get back on track. This is so frustrating when you remember how good you was and now you are below average. Thanks

Hard to answer just like that since there could be a variety of reasons for this. But the meta in FIFA is shifting, skill moves get nerfed, other ones are used more often etc. so my advice would be watching your own game and watching pros to see what they do and then focus on adapting your game and fixing your mistakes. :) - CruZzAve
