I love how soft the ground is under your feet when you stroll around in the woods. Also the smells are some of my favorite damp moss, decomposing leaves, flowers and pine needles. Accompanied by that natural ambient music of wind going through the tree tops, birds , animals snapping twigs and moving the floor cover. As if that all wasn’t already good enough, we get blessed with all the different shading and light filtration hitting various leaves or lighting up a fallen tree in the distance. It really is a wonderful place to be.

personally, I would want a treehouse high up in the trees and my friends would also have treehouses in surrounding trees! We would have little ziplines which blend into the surrounding and we would all have the best binoculars for birdwatching. The would also be one special treehouse full of all the books we could ever need.

Nothing else makes me feel more at peace and focused while working at a computer all day. I've listened to ambient/instrumental/low-fi music for years, but nothing else soothes my busy and overwhelmed brain like this. I grew up in a rural, thickly-forested area in northern New England, and spent almost all my childhood playing outside with my sister and friends. I think this brings me back to those origins, and it honestly makes me cry at times when I think of how devoid of nature my life has become. All the more reason to make some changes. Thank you for keeping this on YT!

Sometimes I feel fine and others-I’m reduced to a toddler like functionality. Every time I struggle to sleep or I have a meltdown-this makes me feel sane. this reminds me of my old home and the woods around it. It was a big yellow house in the middle of some woods and fields, and i’d spend most my time outside playing with my sister, and i remember that we had this one spesific tree we liked to climb to and just sit and talk there on a branch, and she’d always go on the higher branch because i was afraid i’d fall from it, so i sticked to the lower one. I remember us walking in the small wooded area behind our home with our grandpa, and we found a deer skull which he hung up on a tree. I remember sitting on our front porch, eating a cola-orange popsicle (my favorite ones) with my sister and enjoying the summer ambience, the noises, the warmth, the green tops of the big trees in our yard. I remember when we cut down three big pine trees from our yard, and before moving them they laid sideways on our yard, and me and my sister would climb around and play in the tree tops, staining our clothes with sap and smelling like pine for the few days they were there. It was the most fun place to play in back then. I remember the day we had packed up everything, ready to move and i was saying goodbye to my home, i walked to the edge of the small wooded area behind our home and just stood there, listening to the noises and taking in the view of the fields, knowing it would be the last time. The trees had dropped their leaves, the fields were brown and the sky was gray, but i had never seen anything so beautiful before. I miss that feeling of home every day, but these kinds of videos help me feel a bit closer to home. Thank you, take care❤
