Hey Andy great interview! Absolutely love Laura Cox! Bad ass blues player and one of the loveliest accent’s ever! Looks like I’ll be moving to the Basque coast and finding myself a 🏄♂️ surf board! I think I’ve got one of those attenuatoor’s!! (French version of the OX)

I am subbing to this channel based on a previous upload where you explained that you sell your time and effort, but your integrity is all your own. Bravo, good sir. Thank you.

I love these interviews! I was wondering, if you are playing on a cruise ship, Is your power outlet still grounded or is it watered then 🤔

No strings attached! Except they are, otherwise my guitars wouldn't be much use. I use D'Addario EXL120s on electric, and EJ16s on acoustics. I have tried coated strings, and they seem pretty good. I'm with Laura on the subject of amps: keep them real!

Laura je loue avec le même ampli que toi ! mais en combo, et je suis d'accord il est super fort, même en 5W mais quel son ! avec une RAT devant c'est l'extase :-)

Just an Amp1. It's small, fits on a pedalboard, wonderful sounds and cheap and use a good cabinet with good speakers, try out the Barefaced cabinets. 😊🤘

She's really sticking with that "I live in France, so I am going to speak English with a French accent." thing. That's dedication.

You CAN quiet down an SV20 without an attenuator, and without losing the tone. I use a TC Electronics G Major 2 in the loop and can cut the volume as much as I need. Elmo Karjalainen www.youtube.com/@MrPolevaulter runs a volume pot in the loop and it's effectively a master volume. Makes the SV20 super versatile and it still sounds awesome when quieter. Sorry to hear that you sold yours!

Why does not one great guitar player not have an opportunity to talk to another great guitar player, in a confined place such as a ship? Do they fly in the acts?

AI can already make a carbon copy of any sound you want, in a box the size of a pedal. Which one you want to haul to your gigs and pay for in the future?. 1500 dollar amp or a 150 dollar pedal. and no im not talking about tonex. And already there are various analog pedals that can get you multiple sounds you ever gonna need, affordably. And no, the general audience does not give a flying fk about your guitar tone, only that all the instruments can be heard and the music is good. Im sick and tired of this gear whr mentality among professional people when it is established that corporations lie to the customers to their face and musicians endorse that, fk this.

NO!!!! The sound people need to stop being a bunch of BABIES!!! Rock and roll is supposed to move some damn air. If a sound man can't cope with a 100 watt amp he needs a different job. He's mixing a fucking band, not playing mp3's on his phone. And if JoBo isn't too loud for him, one 100 watt 1/2 stack for Laura should be fine.
