The only ones worth it from the sets: Rust (Set B) Orange Rust (Set C) Gun Metal (Set C) Silver (Set C) So most people would be fine with just Set B and Set C.

When/why would you use orange rust and snow ? Can you use orange rust on white plastic ?

Newbie Question: I just received this set and the instructions mention “semi wet” applicator, yet I can’t find one video instruction of anyone touching base on this. All videos show the powder applied right onto the model. Also the powder is hard and you can’t just scoop it off. Okay so do I need to break the powder down? Does the model or the brush/sponge tip need to be semi moist? Anyone with a experience are more than welcome to respond, thanks in advance.

You probably want set c which has rust-gun metal-silver and set F titanium - light gunmetal - copper.

old school modelling cosmetics lol mig ammo line has gone down this route too with a new line of oils with applicator brushes lile mascara lol is it true that these are last doors weathering that cannot be sealed once applied?

+gundam fan I've had no issue sealing but be cautious as I've found once sealed looks darker. I usually apply after decals etc as if you have a gloss coat it gives a realistic contrast and not gloss as well.

Dave's World Yeah id always weather over decals but I'd find sealing powder might take its organic look away but I guess you could just add more to add layers. I use mainly tamiya products so I'll grab these one day 🖒

Dave's World Yeah chalk also lasts for ever with only a tiny shaving great for funnel soot, gun residue and things I picked up humbrol weathering powder and wasted £4 as black chalk shaving is the same stuff ... face palm also I'd use powder along with say pva to replicate blown paint to suggest rust happening under the paint. as is versatile as shown for highlight rubs and particle residue effect or shading in fact done well can give flat paint depth... chalk for the win ha-ha
