Good points. One other thing I see he is doing right is keeping his head oriented normal with his body on the backswing. I see many young gymnasts looking forward on the backswing, which forces an arch and limits the height of the swing. The body always follows the head. If you look up, the body will want to rotate down.

Great video! Do you also push your scapulae toward the p-bars at the horizontal body positions to keep a strong shoulder?
