Very educational, anyone watching should appreciate the length of the video. When it's longer you go in to depth more which is very helpful. Also seeing all work actually being done is alot more appealing than just saying what your gonna do, then come back once it's done. Love your videos man, been around a couple years and actually started my own Handyman company here in Kansas City Mo. Enjoyed this video. I replaced my home and detached garage's fascia, along with all window trim and much of the house and garage exterior wall trims, so I am always watching select youtube How To Channels for tips and sometimes complete knowledge on how to do a repair, etc.

If it was a 2 story it would have been a lot harder and and a lot more dangerous. Not sure I would have taken it if it were 2 story. I has a friend fall off a roof a few months ago and he isn't healing very well. Still can't put weight on his broken leg. He says it should take a full 6 months before he can walk on it.

Just right, good content, and it flowed well. Have got to do the same thing to my own house, but I have to remove vinyl soffit with plywood under it and then I am gonna replace the plywood soffit and install PVC for the new fascia. And then spend $750 to get all new gutters. Really good video. If you don't have to have power at the house for a day get the power company to come disconnect that service for you. Around here they'll drop it by 9am and reconnect by 4pm the same day for no charge just to keep you safe. They like a day or two of notice.

The Handyman if it's national grid, you're given an eso # (electric service order #), and a date for a service drop. It's a good time to have tree work done on the same day, aside from your work, you could sub out the tree work.

Good content. So a lot of repairs is just go from point A to point B to point C. I guess the principle is to have a good working plan. Very methodical as I have mentioned before. Too bad the homeowner did not do this beforehand. The less $$$ spent to install the gutters in the first place is coming back to bite them later. I worked almost 30 years in retail electronics. I know how customers can be short-sighted at times. Good work and thanks for including us in your work. Just a sidebar. The audio especially when sped up gives the impression you are working near a speedway!

Top tip from a gutter man! you can remove and re install you gotta take the mitres apart before taking all the hanger screws out, and for demo removals you can cut the back and front lip and rip the rest apart, mostly, a lot less work with the snips... hope it helps!!

By the way, many painters have been killed walking their wood ladders into a power line! Wood and fiberglass both can provide adequate path to ground, killing the workman in the process! Only A rated insulated ladder is considered shockproof! So be careful and stay away from power lines! You can always call electric company to disconnect power lead for a day to allow you a safe installation

Great detail, really like how you threw in the sweeping clip. Didn’t take long, but if you didn’t the troll army would’ve been all over you about “respecting the property”. Not a fan of the shots where you’re just sitting and talking to camera in your shop. I like the more Diresta style vlogs, where he high speeds shots throughout his day and then places the voice over there. Loving the channel! Keep that content coming!

Dude get one of those little giant leveler ladders. They are the perfect multi-purpose handyman ladder. You can square it up against the house, and shorten the legs on the side towards the house, instead of leaning a step ladder against the wall. Leaning the step ladder against the wall is how people get a broken leg when it slips out from under you. That little giant ladder is awesome. Solves this problem.

little giant ladders are the best. especially the newer redesigned ones. they have the best extension and step ladders I've ever used. if you do alot of electrical I'd go for the fiberglass one

We had new gutters installed a couple years ago and our power from the pole came to the house in the same spot as what you had. The gutter installers wouldn’t put new gutters on until we had an electrician come in and run the power thru the top of the house so they were far from the gutters.
