Question: we made dust baths but our chickens do not seem interested ..... our dust bath is in the coop not near the food. Ours are not free range chickens. We are using all the right ingredients do you think they are bathing when Im not in the coop...

I've had mine for 2 years and just caught one bathing in the dust bath the other day. Usually they just stop whatever they're doing and come see what I'm up to when I walk towards the pen lol. But if you really want to know, just rake the dust bath smooth and level and check it every now and then to see if there's little pockets dug out. If not they probably dug a hole somewhere else. Make sure your dust bath is dry and has a canopy or something over top. Cool in the summer and dry in the winter.
