Geld is the son of the Orc Lord and one of the generals. Most of the orcs that are workers are part of the survivors of the battle with Rimuru's group, around a few tens of thousands of them, the rest(100k) are women and children which were late to arrive so not much casualties for them. Geld is one of those characters who feels extreme guilt for his/and his peoples actions. In slime diaries you can tell he does so much work like a repayment and atonement for their actions.

It's not really necessary but before starting season 3 you could check out Vision of Coleus Ova, it's half canon and the action take place before season 2 during the time Rimuru was a teacher in the Kingdom of Ingrassia, while the Ova doesn't really affect the story, you do have some character that will be extremly important as we go further. And in the end even if the story of the Ova isn't that important more slime can't make any harm, am I right?

I recommend Dr. Stone. It's really fun. The main character is a genius scientist. Everyone turns to stone. Thousands of years later, the main character is free from being turned to stone and has to create a new civilization, teaching science to the Stone Age people.

please boys whatever you do don't give up on season 3 after first few episodes ... they honestly made a mistake to start the season with pure talking episodes even if they are great and progress the lore, but with no action a lot of people just don't care ... so be prepared to have less views and likes on those first maybe 5 episodes but it gets a lot better later on with some of best fight scenes and pure OP moments in all of anime ...
