The five seconds of silence before Loona even _started_ responding to Octavia's question was honestly as impactful as her response. Sometimes there's really no easy answer to give, and the question itself should be given a moment to just stand there and be recognized -- this show doesn't gloss over or downplay the heavy shit, and I _deeply_ respect the team for that.

I love the fact that Brandon Rodgers is the name of Blitz's Voice Actor and they named the actor he's mistaken for as Brennan Ragers lol. I just now figured that out. Plus the real guy look like Brandon too. Great detail!

"Why does he hate her more than he loves me?" That line from Octavia HURT me. I literally choked up, it hurt so much. It hits notes and chords I never thought this show would hit and I absolutely loved it. As a father myself recently divorced with two kids, I'm genuinely afraid of my kids feeling this way in the future I'm so eager to for your reaction to my favorite episode (the next one). That one is the perfect reason to be VERY afraid of and love Millie. And as a small unrelated and unimportant thing, pay attention to the mugs, especially Millie's.

Octavia and Loona are such good sisters/friends. Their dads are in a "friends with benefits" situation together so they are technically sisters in a sense, and a lot of the fandom likes it that way!

The scene with Loona and Octavia talking about their dads is probably one of my favourite moments in the show so far. Loona and Octavia definitely have that sibling bond forming between them. I hope that they have more screen time of them together.

Interesting tidbits: The actor that Blitz gets mistaken for (Brennon Ragers) can actually be seen in this episode (besides the billboard). He's the dude Octavia accidentally kills when teleporting into the human realm (@5:54) Also something you may have missed: the costume shop Blitz buys his disguise from has a literal STOLAS costume in the window (@10:40). It's only there for less than a second before Blitz blocks it with the door. Also, there's a Verosika Mayday keychain at the vendor's table (@11:44) (we know she performs in the human realm as seen in the Spring Break episode) Though of course, you'd have no way of seeing most of those things on first watch (which is what makes watching the episodes multiple times so much fun!)

Funfacts: the guy who rips off his shirt and has Brennan Ragers on his chest in the crowd near the beginning is the same guy who rips off his shirt that says Verosika on his chest. On the set when the girl screams, is the same girl from the verosika episode who screams after the guy gets smashed by the monster fish

This is the last episode so far where we hear Loona's voice because Erica lost her Fiancé after that. She's still present in the series but without talking... It's a sad reason and I'm glad she's still on the team but paused to get her private life in line.

Y'know when you first hear about what Helluva Boss is, yknow demon assassins going to earth to kill for hire, I wouldnt blame anyone for not expecting the show to feature stuff like an owl girl having to vent her frustration with her divorcing parents. But the people working on this just manage to make that balance between the Violent, hillarious, grotesque, and sincerely heartfelt work 90% of the time and its a miracle that they do!

Her name's Octavia but she goes by Via. AND I heard it might of been confirmed we are getting an Octavia focused song in the near future. There was a lot of humor in this episode, but 3 important parts for me were Octavia's feelings during the messy divorce Stolas is going thru. Though she may be trying to act nonchalant she is feeling the pain. 2nd to go with the first is Loona spending time talking with Octavia. It's emotional, shows Loona has more depth under her hard exterior, and she cares. Plus a good bonding moment with those two. Especially if their Dad's are into each other its nice to bond. Third but not least important part was Loona's and Blitz's backstory. Loona coming from the pound and what seems like a horrible background and Blitz willingly recuing her and showing he loves her is so special.
