It wasn't just Blitzø saying it, either. If you listen closely as he's being teleported out, there's a second voice mixed with the _whoosh_ sound effect -- it's hard to hear even with headphones, but it sounds like Stolas saying, "...I'm so sorry..."

This had an impact, sure, but I think it was mostly because he was in pure trauma response mode. Blitz not only *mocked* his confession and feelings (accidentally or no) but then pursued him through the halls when he sttempted to leave, yelling. That yelling escalated to shouting, escalated to screaming insults. Who does that sound like?? By the time they made it to the ballroom and Blitz *lost it*, that was all Stolas could handle. He *freezes*, which is a survival instinct in trauma, and *flinches* when Blitz screams. That's not medication withdrawal, that's trauma.

@@saralovelace7219 Except we've seen several times that's not how he reacts to Stella's abuse, even remotely. He's completely desensitized to Stella to the point he literally ignored her screaming her lungs out about having him assassinated within arms' reach of him at dinner. And we've seen Blitz casually yelling, even alongside insults, in their relationship before and we saw Stolas doesn't seem to mind it at all, does not even consider it serious, and we can even assume he thinks it's entirely playful, given he doesn't pay any attention to the criticism given when Blitz is yelling. So it's not even a matter of "Oh well he didn't expect yelling from BLITZ, and that shock of someone he actually loved yelling at him triggered his PTSD" like no, he knows Blitz is a yeller, he's had Blitz yell at him for stuff before and did not have any trauma response, we never see him have any comparable trauma response while experiencing the trauma in question. It's much more simple than that. He's freezing because his lover is venting frustrations that for him are insecurities he was just earlier equating to Him being a MONSTER and his lover rejecting him. He's flinching because hearing those things and hearing his lover pained and angry and in tears venting those frustrations HURTS and to him indicates Blitz doesn't love him, because that was the dichotomy he set up in his head beforehand. And Blitz didn't mock Stolas' confession, he misunderstood what Stolas was going for and tried to please him looking genuinely disappointed and confused when Stolas didn't like his Roleplaying, and was clearly shocked when he realized Stolas meant it. He didn't "pursue him through the halls as he attempted to leave, yelling". He followed after him at a leisurely walking pace through the door Stolas left open as he CONTINUED TALKING TO BLITZ as he left, and listened as Stolas insulted him by misassuming his feelings. And then replied, once Stolas finished speaking, in an argumentative slightly louder than his normal speaking voice tone with "WHAT? Fuck you, Stolas! You spring this feelings bullshit on me-" and then starts yelling when Stolas walks into the ballroom, getting farther away from him, and then starts shouting when he gets frustrated with Stolas ignoring him actually trying to talk about it, and then starts screaming as he starts crying. We only see 2 of Stolas' reactions to this before he talks himself and they are completely normal reactions. He stops walking away and straightens up as if surprised/taken aback when Blitz calls him "you pompous rich A$$HOLE", and then flitches when Blitz gutturally screams "B!TCH" (previously used as a term of endearment between them now screamed with vitriol) at him at the top of his lungs with his voice unsteady meanwhile insinuating he'd rather have Stolas fight him (ie kill him) than get dismissed "like one of [his] butler imps". Mind you, Blitz almost certainly was NOT trying to commit sewer slide by boyfriend, we've seen a lot of fighting and roughhousing as some kind of close communication/bonding with imps, so Blitz probably more meant something like that, or more likely was referring to ARGUING and having a discussion about it since that's what he was doing, or at least trying to do, BUT it would be completely understandable if that's what Stolas read it as. Not that it matters, the person you love screaming "B!TCH!" at the top of their lungs in tears as they have a mental breakdown over you breaking up with them and pinning it on them because you wrongly assumed they didn't have feelings for you... That's a pretty good reason to flinch, for most people. It'd honestly be a little odd if someone did not flinch in that situation. Also on the medication thing, Stolas is insanely rich, has tons of servants running around, and literally can make portals to go like anywhere he wants. If he has time to empty out the fridge and crawl inside it, he has time to go refill his prescriptions, or have someone do it for him, and take a pill before the meeting. Assuming he doesn't have a stockpile of them, which honestly why wouldn't he, it's literally Hell, and he's functionally immortal. The happy pills bottle being empty was almost certainly just a gag to show how unprepared he was and how everything was going wrong for him that morning. Given his vast resources it would be either wildly unlikely given we see no further obstacle that the bottle being empty, or a result of willful irresponsibility for him to not end up getting more meds and taking them as needed, which doesn't seem in character from what we've seen of Stolas' attitude about his meds so far. Taking them at an irregular time could make him act a bit different too, I suppose, but I don't think it's that significant to the plot. I'm pretty sure he was just wound up expecting a negative result and unintentionally contributed to one because of it.

Aaah I'm so glad someone else finally noticed the bag! I love the imagery of Blitzø throwing the bag up onto the balcony. It's a perfect reversal of what he did the day they met. Instead of stealing from Stolas by tossing a bag off the balcony and making his escape, he's bringing him things he bought for him by throwing a bag onto the balcony to make an entrance. It's such a subtle yet beautiful way to symbolize that they've come full circle, and the entire transactional nature of their relationship with each other is finally coming to a close. That, for better or for worse, that chapter of their lives is over now. There's no going back after this point. Oh and btw, according to the trailer, the next episode is supposed to come out in June! I think a lot of what i like about the ending scene is how completely reasonable the reactions are on both sides, barring Blitz's inability to deal with any emotional stress without utterly freaking out and hitting the launch torpedoes button to just nuke everything from space. Stolas has been planning this for months, getting things together, convincing himself that if he can only say the right things in the right way than things can finally be settled and he'll know for sure. And admittedly, he did almost everything right, gave Blitz some space, put together a solution in which both sides can 'win' so to speak, presented it as forthrightly and vulnerably as possible, and used all the right words to be as transparent as possible in what he wants and how he wants it. *Chefs kiss* Then we have Blitz on the other side, still wrapped in his surety that he is essentially and irrevocably unlovable. After a night that, from his point of view, cements the fact that what they have is transactional and purely physical, his 'partner' distances himself from him. A thing that likely at first feels like a relief, though obviously after several months of distance, he begins to miss Stolas and obviously actually looks forward to their time together if how he outlined it on his calendar is any indication. The down side to this being spelled out perfectly in the song -- He isn't sure they are alright -- He has spent zero time in self reflection or sorting through his own feelings -- His entire plan is to knock Stolas' socks off with the best night of sex he's ever had in the hopes that it will bring them back to some happy status quo. In light of everything previous, I would generally consider this baby steps in the right direction, even if he has taken literally zero time to process his own emotions. Then instead of dipping his toes into the water, he's literally jerked off the shore into a whirlpool of emotion. I think both of them fall into the emotional pit traps that they have created for themselves. With Stolas immediately jumping to seeing Blitz' reactions as an obvious rejection of him, or perhaps a reinforcement that he wants to only keep things sexual -- While blitz is clearly hurt and heartbroken that Stolas wants to end their agreement, an agreement that probably feels 1000 times more safe than being in a real relationship. You can even hear the real emotional crisis in Blitz' voice when he screams "..you spring this feelings bullshit on me, are you fucking kidding! Can I get a [ ]ing minute to think.." I'm honestly, at this point, not even sure if they are good for one another, but it did feel real, and I can't even be mad at anyone, though my heart bleeds..

Stolas thought Blitz thought low of him when it’s the exact opposite! Blitz hates himself and couldn’t imagine anyone, let alone a royal big shot like Stolas having genuine feelings for him. Stolas “setting him free” just feeds into his abandonment trauma, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy: Blitz expects people to leave him so he detaches and doesn’t admit his true feelings to them which in turn causes them to eventually leave because they get the wrong perception of him not having feelings for them 😭

But he is a damaged soul who uses jokes and then aggressive yelling to diffuse an emotional situation. Stolas being out of medication means he wasnt thinking clearly either and quickly walked away, forcing a panic on Blitz and did not take time for Blitz to process the current convo. As Viv tweeted, both are to blame. Fun(painful) fact: As Stolas casts out Blitz you can hear Blitz trying to say I'm sorry, but theres also a whisper under his voice. its a second long at most and its under the rushing wind sound, but its Stolas saying "I'm so sad..."

We also cannot forget what Stolas represents for Blitz. He sees Estolas, someone from an extremely higher social class, as an almost divine being. Someone who lives a life in a reality very different from his because he is a being very different from him. Much stronger and fearless. In episode 4 of the second season, Blitz was almost indifferent to Stolas's kidnapping because his mind couldn't grasp any reason for him to be in real danger, surprising himself at the end of the episode with the fact that Stolas could, indeed, be hurt. In Blitz's eyes, Stolas is someone unreachable and untouchable. How crazy a trip it must be and yet Blitz would never dream that Stolas feels anything genuine for him.
@Nitrinoxus
@Nitrinoxus Ай бұрын
Alright, a few initial thoughts about the episode, and by 'a few' I mean *_WOW:_* - I managed to avoid spoiling myself on the opening number, so this was my first time seeing just how wildly nervous both Blitzø and Stolas were about the coming night. We've known for a while that Blitzø's go-to tension-breaker is to use crass humor and innuendo to sidestep uncomfortable topics, but this is the first time he's explicitly _acknowledged_ that he uses them as a distraction _on himself:_ he doesn't want to deal with how complicated things have become, and would rather "focus on the sexy stuff instead!" Meanwhile, poor Stolas is trying to drown out "the voice that says [he's] not enough" as he steels himself for what he fears will be a disaster, grappling with overwhelming depression and anxiety while he's out of his prescription medication to take the edge off of both (which ain't a fun experience, trust me). - From the start, the aspect of both Stolas's and Blitzø's personalities that's messed up their relationship is that _they're both godawful at communicating._ Blitzø's word choice and spelling suggest he's illiterate or self-taught, while Stolas is incredibly verbose when he writes, so it's easy to believe there's a lot that's lost in their text chats -- and of course, _neither_ of them is comfortable talking openly about their feelings or asking others for help, as evidenced by the final scene of this episode being the first genuine heart-to-heart they've had in 25 years... and if _either of them_ had been able to be more honest with the other _sooner,_ things might not have blown up the way they did. Of _course_ Blitzø wouldn't immediately think Stolas was being _genuine_ about his feelings -- he's never been _before,_ very few people _are,_ and most of their prior interactions _were_ innately sexual. (Basically, they _both_ screwed up, and they're _both_ gonna be hurting for a while because of it -- but Blitzø was never going to introspect about how he feels about Stolas _without_ something like this happening, so this pain is _necessary_ for his character development, unpleasant as it is to watch.) - It's been shown in previous episodes, and again at the start of this one, that every photo in Blitzø's apartment has his face blotted out, visually symbolizing his self-loathing and his belief that everyone else would be better off without him in their lives -- and now we see Stolas _doing the same thing._ Every portrait in the hallway leading to his room is covered, in much the same way that one covers the portrait of someone who's just passed away, symbolizing the 'death' of his marriage and of a significant part of his life up to that point; the _only_ person whose face _isn't_ covered is _Octavia,_ the only other good thing to happen to Stolas besides Blitzø -- much like how Blitzø left Loona visible in the photo we saw at the start, Stolas sees his daughter as the one thing he did _right._ (And from the dialogue in the trailer, y'all *_know_* that _that_ shoe's gonna drop. We're not done crying with Stolas by a _long_ shot.) - It's good to see that Blitzø and Fizz are back on good terms and rekindling their old friendship, because Fizz might be the perfect person to help Blitzø figure out how he feels about Stolas. Fizz and Asmodeus's relationship is built on the kind of strong communication and mutual understanding that Blitzø and Stolas _desperately_ need to work on, and we saw a couple episodes back that Fizz can clearly see aspects of their dynamic that Blitzø is oblivious to -- if Blitzø can ask him for advice, I'm sure Fizz can be a _huge_ help to him. - Wasn't expecting the D.H.O.R.K.S. crew or Cletus, Keenie and Collin to show up this soon into the second half of the season, having had 'Mastermind' as the likely focus on their partnership -- but I won't complain about a longer team-up between the two jokiest groups of antagonists so far. (Who knows, maybe we'll see Collin actually split from the others -- he's the only one who doesn't seem to be on board with this selfish vendetta, and he was the only one who didn't consider the I.M.P. crew lesser, only being offended that they were being cruel and interfering with C.H.E.R.U.B.'s job.) - The silence over the credits? *_BRILLIANT._*

The sad thing is, I think if Blitz had more time to process this decision and information that it would have ended up a little better. Yeah he has low self esteem and I think a big part of that is he doesn’t think he’s worth much, that Stolas only wants him for sessy fun time. Because that’s literally what this deal was about, so he feels this is out of no where. The way he said he could do better 😭 He lashed out because Stolas was walking away from him so quickly. I was looking forward to your reaction the most! Agree with everything you said. And THANK YOU for not talking over all the dialogue. A lot of reactors seem to do that and it’s really frustrating. How can you react to something if you’re not even listening to what the characters are saying? The next episode will come out around the next full moon, i believe. One month…😩 I hope they give us something extra, too, this was rough. I’m worried about both of them. Blitzo, of course, but he has a good support network, and other than this, he’s in a good place right now. Stolas is not. He’s completely isolated except for, presumably, his daughter, when she’s with him, but he can’t talk to her about this. He’s getting divorced, he still has a torture wound from his wife’s assassination attempt, his daughter is probably very upset with him and she is noticeably absent, the furniture is covered like he’s losing the house or selling it, he’s off his depression meds, and all his worst fears were realized with Blitzo. The way he was holding himself at the end, flinching when Blitzo screamed at him… I’m honestly worried that he might make very bad choices right now. It makes me so sad, because I am SO proud of him. He was so damn brave, trying to do the right thing, laying his heart out. I don’t blame Blitzo, of course. Both of them have made mistakes, are damaged and confused, and they were basically set on this path from the day Stolas’ father purchased Blitzo for his sad son’s birthday, and Blitzo’s father forced him to steal from Stolas.

Stella screams insults at Stolas so often, that was probably a double-whammy, hearing the person he actually loves do it, too.

Stolas using him for sex makes sense to him,but,whenever Stolas goes out of the sex element,Blitzø just marks that as bullshit,and it's so coded into him that not even Stolas completely opening his fucking heart in front of him does it,he's too blinded by the opinion about royals his father inculcated into him. Just like when Blitzø realized Stolas can be physically hurt,it's only when Stolas gets visibly emotionally hurt that he snaps out of it,the facade,the wall falls down. What kills me is that Stolas is originally like: I want to give him his choice, but then he just... immediately takes the decision away from him again?! Stolas is so CLOSE to the point, which is that they have a really imbalanced relationship, but when Blitzø doesnt react in the way Stolas wants, instead of talking it out the way Blitzø tries to do (albiet meanly) he just widens that power imbalance by not letting Blitzø speak and portalling him out. And thats after giving him a heart attack about the book and suddenly thrusting feelings on him after avoiding him for months. Oof. Good episode but PAIN

This!! People aren't giving Blitzø enough credit for the way he tried to communicate in this episode. Stolas took a lot of steps in the right direction (giving him the crystal, acknowledging that the arrangement was fucked up from the start, being honest about his desire to be together as equals), but then he took a huge step backwards by not giving Blitzø the grace of allowing him to react and digest everything Stolas threw at him at his own pace. He instead allowed his self-hatred to prevail and assumed the worst at the slightest hint of (perceived) rejection. Even the whole "I didn't realize you think so low of me" line, as heartbreaking as it is, is proof that Stolas still doesn't understand the way their class difference affects Blitzø. Blitzø's outburst is completely justified. Stolas's livelihood was never on the line - but Blitzø's is. He, unlike Stolas, never had the luxury of exploring his own feelings in a relatively risk-free environment: he never had the space to think about how he felt about their arrangement, because he couldn't afford to. And now Stolas is forcing him to speedrun the whole thing for his own peace of mind. Blitzø is crying for help, and Stolas is making it about himself.

Gentle alternative viewpoint; I don't think Stolas is thinking clearly at that point. Whether he meant to or not, Blitz's falling back on humor and deflection came across as mocking Stolas' confession and feelings. Stolas has a lot of baggage around that specific thing; so I think it's likely his fight/flight response kicked in and he just wanted to get *away*. It's not so much that Blitz didn't make the choice he wished for, it was *how* Blitz responded. And I agree that Blitz was WELL within his right to ask for a moment to process and I wish he'd asked that UP FRONT. As it stands, he pursued someone who was very obviously trying to run away, allowed his anger and resentment to build until he was yelling at said person, and then by the time he *did* ask for a moment, he'd completely lost control of his temper. So now he's shouting and hurling very hurtful insults, and Stolas has gone from Flight to Freeze. Trauma response. Blitz is unknowingly following in Stella's footsteps and Stolas has gone into survival mode. He stops, not to hear, but because he's learned that if his pursuer won't let him run then the only way to make it stop is to let it happen. It's why he's braced for impact and *flinches* when Blitz screams at him. Now, Blitz has also totally been reacting through trauma responses as well, including his anger and Fight instinct. The sadness here comes from the fact that they know each other truly so little that they cannot spot this in each other. Stolas didn't make it "all about him" in that final moment; Blitz did. Because instead of speaking his truth and saying "I do not believe at all that it is possible that you really feel that way about me," he lshed out and attacked Stolas. Over and over, saying things he's never said to him. Stolas was 100% right to acknwlwdge these things instead of wave a hand in the air dismissively. He *listened*. But he was shook, and sad, and likely on the verge of a breakdown he no longer trusts Blitz to witness. So he teleported him.

@@saralovelace7219 I will absolutely give you that Stolas isn't thinking clearly. He is hurt, and spiraling and so, so sad. The dude is definitely going through it. I would never argue that Stolas doesn't deserve to feel the way he does either. I'd also never suggest that Blitz acted totally perfectly either. BUT. Stolas started things out in a way that immediately put Blitz on the back foot. He began the conversation by saying that he needed the book back permanently. Stolas knows what he is going to do, what he is going to offer. Blitz would never be able to hear anything in that statement "I need the book back. Permanently" as anything but a full on rejection, which is why Blitz, though usually incredibly proud, jumps straight to begging. He pleads with Stolas, swears he can do better. Stolas started things off doomed to fail by not having the conversation first, but by taking away Blitz's livelihood and everything he'd built for himself. Stolas knows what he is going to do. He's had a lot of time to really think about their relationship, about his feelings about Blitz in general. He's also seen how it worked out well between Ozzie and Fizz, not stopping to think about WHY their relationship works--i.e. that they talk to each other. Blitz has not had the luxury of being able to think about this thing he has with Stolas as anything other than a transaction--something he can win or lose with one bad night. Stolas holds the cards, and Blitz knows it. He DOESN'T know that he is capable of hurting Stolas. The two of them have never, at least, not on screen, and probably not privately, if their texts are anything to go by, had a real conversation. They talk about some things, sure, but not about anything real, not about their deeper feelings about anything. Stolas, from what we've seen, has mostly been horny, condescending, or ashamed of Blitz whenever they've been in public together. Sometimes all three. He's constantly reminding Blitz that they are different, by calling him a 'little imp' or an 'impish plaything.' And yeah, the second one was used to freak out some DHORKS, but I highly doubt that was the only time he said anything like that. Sure, he was probably trying to match the energy he thought Blitz was into, but even times when Blitz tried to set some boundaries, Stolas just breezed right passed them like they weren't there (Loo Loo Land, I'm looking at you). In Western Energy, he calls Blitz out multiple times at the Harvest Moon fest, despite Blitz being obviously uncomfortable, and he never once uses Blitz's preferred name. We don't know if Blitz doesn't mind the Blitzy thing sometimes, but the fact remains that he corrects Stolas most of the time when it is used, and Stolas just ignores it. We, the audience, knows that Stolas has caught feelings and is just totally useless at trying to show that. Blitz has absolutely no context for this though. They never actually discuss what happened at Ozzie's, except in a few texts that had Stolas constantly backtracking and minimalizing everything. Even that night, Blitz flat out says that their relationship, as he understands it, is Stolas wanting Blitz to f*ck him. And Stolas doesn't deny that at all in that moment. True, he's trying to give Blitz the space he can tell Blitz wants, but he never tries to correct him about the idea that their relationship is just something Stolas is using Blitz for a novel time. We know Blitz likes Stolas as more than just a meal ticket, because of his conversation with Fizz. But though we know from that that Stolas likes Blitz's stories, and laughs at his jokes, and asks about his day...for someone with self esteem as bad as Blitz, all that means is that Stolas still wants something from him. Stolas doesn't understand this (because Blitz hasn't told him), which isn't Stolas' fault, but I can see where Stolas thinks things stand a little differently than they do. Blitz goes back to what he KNOWS in the end, because Stolas has just given him a minor heart attack about his LIFE about to go up in flames, and even after Stolas gives him the crystal, he clearly doesn't understand and keeps saying he can do better. Then Stolas drops a feelings bomb on him, which has GOT to be wild, especially considering a lot of the aforementioned things I've said--at least from Blitz's perspective, Stolas calls Blitz when he needs something (meaning it's totally fine when Blitz does it in return) and he waltzes over the very few boundaries Blitz has ever tried to put in place (Call me by my name, don't come at he when I'm working), Stolas demeans his species and his work, and recently, has been putting a lot of space between them. Stolas suddenly says he cares which has got to feel out of nowhere, and then he just leaves. Blitz gets angrier and angrier as Stolas just walks away, because, to him, Stolas is just doing it AGAIN. He used him up, and now he's done, just because he, Stolas, says so? No discussion, no moment to process, just...done. So Blitz follows him, and gets meaner and meaner as he just tries to get Stolas to freaking LOOK at him, hurls insults about his station and his character, but you know he's saying what he fears--that Stolas is treating him just like every other imp, that he is just dismissing him out of hand because, as an imp, Blitz isn't as important. Blitz wants to be SEEN, he wants to be heard and acknowledged and treated as an equal. As a partner, perhaps. And Stolas is obviously hurt by Blitz's statement, and Blitz even realized that he went to far, even started to apologize. And then Stolas once again makes a unilateral decision, and sends Blitz away, using a means that Blitz could never hope to emulate, solidifying the imbalance between them. Stolas is definitely about to have a breakdown. He had his feelings thrown in his face, and seemingly mocked, he put his heart on his sleeve and had it stomped on. I do feel bad for him. But he is a huge hypocrite in this episode. He said he wanted to give Blitz a choice, but he never once thought to ASK BLITZ WHAT HE WANTED. If he really valued Blitz's autonomy, this is a decision they should have discussed together. That would probably have gone a long way to ease Blitz's fears that he is just another imp to Stolas, that he CAN bring something to the table here. They NEED to have a conversation, like adults, like equals, wherein they lay out their own feelings and find out what the other wants. No ultimatums, no forcing people away when things go south (They should probably have a mediator tbh). Anyway, this was a monster. I didn't mean to imply that Stolas doesn't have a right to feel hurt or that Blitz was perfect in his actions. They both messed up here. But in this case, this one time, I felt worse for Blitz than Stolas, which...has pretty much never happened in this show before. Blitz brings a lot of pain on himself by his tendencies to push people away before they can hurt him, by couching all vulnerability in a sheen of jokes and horniness. But this time, here, Stolas kept saying he wanted to give Blitz a choice, and then proceeded to take that choice away several times. Hopefully this will eventually help clear the air and they'll be able to have a conversation. A real conversation. Both are right to be hurt and angry right now, and I'll be interested to see how it shakes out. But until then, for once, Blitz definitely deserves an apology.
@saralovelace7219
@saralovelace7219 29 күн бұрын
They have both hurt each other and they both need to unpack that and apologize. But the first move is going to have to be Blitz's this time. I go back and forth about how Stolas started the convo. I think what it comes down to is a valid lack of trust in both himself and Blitz. The grimoire has to be gotten back immediately before Stolas can chicken out or change his mind, or before Blitz cottons on and just runs off with it. I mean, he stole it once; Stolas has no reason to think he won't do it again. So I understand the need to secure the grimoire first. But! I think he left Blitz hanging a bit too long. Part of me wonders if he was doing the same thing I was.... waiting to see if Blitz would admit it wasn't just the book he needed. But when he did explain he did so clearly and thoroughly. Was proud of him. Would it have been better to discuss as adults? Of course. Would it have been better to not spring it on Blitz? Obviously. But again, Stolas learns from experiences. He *tried* to get Blitz to talk. He *tried* to hash out Ozzie's, to talk about feelings, to talk about their relationship. He didn't immediately do it on the night of, no, but the man was in shock. And he DID try to get Blitz to come in and talk. *Blitz* would not. The texts. I know a lot of people read those as minimizing or trying to pretend things never happened. I think that unless a person has been the Stolas in an emotionally neglectful/ abusive relationship, they are going to misunderstand. Stolas' texts are based on the conflicting need to *fix the problem* but also *not drive the person away*. If you read them, he starts out pretty clear in his desire to talk about what happened, where that leaves them, is Blitz ok etc. *No matter the reason*, what Blitz sends back are one word responses that come off as dismissive. Which causes Stolas to pivot like CRAZY in a desperate attempt to match that energy. "If Blitz says it wasn't a big deal then I guess it wasn't"--because he's trying desperately not to drive Blitz away. Which leads to some truly pitiful mental gymnastics where he's even offering himself as a verbal punching bag in order to just try and make Blitz *happy* with him again. So yeah, they needed to talk. BEFORE this happened. But Blitz says himself 3 different times that he's been ignoring and avoiding those opportunities. Stolas can't *force* him. So for his own wellbeing, he had to act unilaterally. Which I applaud, honestly. Stolas had become almost as trapped in this as Blitz was... someone had to break the cycle.

how did he take decision from Blitz? Blitz said his mind, ofc we know that it was a trauma response but he did give a VERY clear answer and Stolas removed him from his home to save himself some dignity. How that in any way taking decision away? He made a decision, hasty and ill-informed but he made it. There was no way Blitz would say "ah, actually I love you too!" there. At best hw would apologize for the reaction but it doesn't changing anything at all.

The Fizz from LooLoo Land was a repurpose RoboFizz sexbot and yes, it was destroyed. The dragon from the petting zoo swallowed it. Vivian says she wants 4 seasons, I think Blitz and Stolas finally being in a healthy place is more an end goal. Speaking of Viv, she did a good bit of voice acting this episode as Keelee. I liked how the Cherubs wore the mech suit based on their counterparts in IMP. Keltus in the one based on Blitz, Keelee in the one based on Millie (the visor even mimicked Millie's long eyelashes), and Collin in the one based on Moxxie. I guess exorcist are known to all of Heavenly society, but the extermination was kept secret. I knew the part where Stolas ended the deal would be the "ripping off the bandage" moment but didn't lessen the impact. I expect Blitz is going to try and hook up with Verosaka again, but it won't go well. Then, it looks like Ghost Fuckers the Ghost will use Blitz's personal issues to posses him and Millie will have to fight him. I am theorizing Stolas and Andelpus will fight when Stella tries to take Octaiva away from Stolas, and Blitz may interfere, and Satan will come in to break it up or afterward to decide who is at fault and what to do about Blitz as he rules Wrath and is in charge of Imps..

My prediction for the series' story. Mammon said Asmodeus would "regret revealing that" he loves Fizz, and also Stolas just told Blitz that he'll technically be under Oz's jurisdiction with the crystal. I think, that crystal will be nullified when whatever mammon's plan comes to fruition, and Blitz will be forced to meet with Stolas to beg for the book again, thus giving them a chance to work it out. Maybe Blitz will be angry with Fizz for allowing Oz to give Stolas the crystal, blaming him for the reason why Stolas left him, but I'm not sure.

John, important clarification: The Fizzarolli we see here IS NOT the "Amazing Robotic Fizzarolli" we saw in episode 2 of season 1. The ENTIRETY of that Fizz was robotic, the original Fizz just has arm and leg prosthetics. That was one of the mass produced robotic companions Mammon made in Fizzarolli's image, and was seemingly sent to work there entertaining kids a long time ago and became a minor celebrity in its own right just by working at the park and showcasing the abilities of the robotic companions. It just so happens that Blitz ended up working there after his falling out with Fizz, and seemingly developed some kind of relationship with that Robo Fizz that somehow went to shit and indeed did end with the Robo Fizz's exterior getting melted off after being accidentally set on fire and then getting eaten by LooLoo Land's dragon, and that was the last we ever saw of or heard about that Robo Fizz, so it's pretty safe to say it is probably very dead.

So episode 8: Full moon was slated for May and released May 31st. The next episode in line is called "Apology tour" and is slated for release here in June! That was a Robo Fizz robot! It was mechanical and pretty obsolete at the time, plus working alongside other Chuck E Cheese looking animatronics. There is only ONE Fizzarolli. Although he does have prosthetics, due to the horror that happened in episode 6, he is actually still a living being, unlike the Robo-Fizz (a robotic) in Loo Loo Land (which was a knock off of the original LuLu World run by Lucifer rather than the crappy-fake theme park.)

Two emotionally damaged and abused creatures , one out of antidepressants who can’t accept what the other feels for them. In being who they are they both cannot believe the other might want them so in that moment they both are so far in their own self hate they fail to honestly listen to each other. Blitz turns to anger when he feels and Stolas to self pity almost and that moment keeps either from seeing the shields they place. Stolas has had self realization of what Blitz feels but doesn’t pause to honestly consider how ripping the bandages of their deal might cause Blitz to hemorrhage all that rage. But, then again Stolas had already prepared for rejection. If you pay attention to their walk all the statues and paintings are covered as you do when preparing to close a house up.. Sorry way to many yrs of counseling from my own dark relationships( one reason seeing Hazbin handle Angel and Val hits home) Plus easier looking into a relationship from the outside and seeing what one cannot from the inside. This all from two great shows I never saw coming.

Episode two wasn’t the real fizz. It was a robotic replica of him. Hence the sparking etc.

There is going to be one new episode every month until fall I think? I saw the announcement schedule earlier but it didn’t list specific dates only month names.
