Damon and Klaus had some great moments. Damon was the "Dean Winchester" of TVD. He was the only one who got things done or made someone else do it. Klaus started out evil, but you see him grow into the man Elijah always knew he could be. Damon and Klaus played off each other because although Damon was younger, he'd already discovered evil was boring, but being unpredictable was amusing.

I agree 100%. The majority of Damon's life was spent pining over a girl that never cared about him. Also with Lisa and Ben, Dean put them into a position where they could have gotten killed and decided it was better for them to forget him. Both Damon and Stefan should have left Elena alone to be able to live her life. Elena was the love of Damon's life, but he was selfish. I don't think Dean had a selfish bone in his body and that's what makes him the better man.

He knows when to taunt and when to back off. His views about the world and other people are grounded in reality, unlike Stephan or Elena, who tend to have idealistic and self-sacrificing views. 🤔

At that moment when he killed (not really him, but he told Klaus) the witcher and freed Caroline and Tyler, and then came to Klaus and said “I don’t care”? Damon didn't notice the bite/scratch then, so it wasn't "I'm going to die anyway." Or further, when he came to Chicago. Klaus almost killed him. Was Damon sure that the witch would definitely save or protect him? Or she could be late. And further, when Stefan stole the coffins, why was he sure that they would not take him in return? Or at any time after the death of Finn and Kol, he could have been killed as brother for brother. Or when he shot Klaus. His survival is meaningless. Just like Stefan in this conflict. For a while it could hang on to Klaus's affections, but not all the time.

@Itz Parasite NAh demon was bad and all but Klaus made the serie so freakin exciting. Both vampire diaries and original. He made it exciting for me. I don't know about ya. 😌

@Itz Parasite I really liked Damon's character until klaus came in I mean to be honest Damon certainly thinks a lot of himself like standing up against the orginals if they had a chance they could have killed him in a second And also being funny and just hating people around doesn't mean you're a BADASS

@Itz Parasite ya well I can't understand that either have you seen the orginals Elijah takes down an army of vampires stronger and smarter than Damon within minutes they ruined Elijah in the first appearence he is a lot more stronger than that I'm sure neither Stefan nor Damon actually stands a chance against him
