I pretty much guessed the secret of the derelict ship within a 15 minutes or so from the clues Alex gathers while walking around and the effects, but I kind of like that I was able to piece it together from the clues. The devs didn't play bs games and try and hide information from the player to prolong the secret; if you read the clues and think about what they mean, you can piece the mystery together and figure out the story. Although I admit I was aided by noticing that the player scrupulously avoided taking weapons offered lol. Great story.

We do see him at the end, he's just not on the boat, and no one comments on him. That only happens if you save junior but lose the distributor cap, and Conrad meets him when the Coast Guard comes for a rescue.

Did anybody notice how the plot and audio took a steep dive from the previous game? The dialog is forced at some points and some actions are straight out of nowhere. Two guys helping each other reach the ship when suddently: Didn't you ask for a dime? I am suddently mad enough to make a sudden scene because our commanding officer is watching and we need to survive long enough to show the basic plot and game mechanics. Oh, and let's walk even more robot-ish than the freaking androids from a game slightly older. They clearly put too much effort into the looks and cool concept for the story. There was probably no money left to get good actors, motion tracking and creative thinking to advance the plot.

did you notice the stupidity of the story to? the boat captain mentions the gold of medan being a bio weapon or "poison". the black kid with the glasses said the exact same thing of it being a poisonus gas that leaked out. yet at the end of the game they "cant explain what happened" even in the best ending, i expected the kid with the glasses to share what he learned or even suggest to the others that it was a bio weapon but nope. all they said was "someone was attacking us" as they called for help. all the notes you examine add nothing to the story either. "let me read this note that explains a FUCKEN BIO WEAPON THATS POISONUS but then not let it have any impact on the characters judgements or share the info with anyone." this is absurd and ridiculous!

Honestly I like this game. I don't think I could ever play it myself. I am too much of a chicken shit. This game is clearly based off of Ghost Ship (Movie) And other Ghost type movies. The next Installment looks interesting, but I'd like some Mythological horror. We have yet to get a good Werewolf Survival Horror game. Until Dawn is kinda close but it's more Wendigo over werewolf. Either way! Good playthrough! Ty for sharing it.

If you keep Junior alive he leads you back upstairs and you avoid the Olson fight - so he has the heart attack and dies. If Junior dies you have to try to stumble your way back and wind up in the fight.

Do you know why the ritual chapter with fliss gets skipped after the finding friends chapter with Brad? Edit; not playing curators mode, found the mask & wrench, & hid successfully in the restroom but once Brad jumps and falls it skips ritual and cuts to Fliss hallucinating the hooded figure.

Grabbing the knife opens up an opportunity for a bad ending if you use it to stab someone, but you don't have to, like you do with the combat knife from the storage area (and don't clear the air/get the gas mask).

But funny part is i thought i kept losing because i missed the shot in the next part. And when I finally did shoot I still died, was so pissed. Learning curve, I'll get there eventually

@@avrillover27 The one good thing is that because it's an interactive movie, even if you screw up the heartbeat, you can still play the whole game. Unlike Until Dawn, there's not a heartbeat test at the end of the game where if you keep screwing it up everybody dies.
