Hi, Goulash is a Hungarian dish and needs Paprika to finish off it's taste! You can also add a teaspoon of baking soda to settle down the acid from those tomatoes. Thanks for another well made video!

I’m Romanian and my mom would make this too, but with tomato sauce (we didn’t like chunks of tomato as kids) and yes, paprika and sour cream. No cheese. And the parsley was added last. So good!

Hey there Becky, this is an older video but I just saw it. I love goulash!! I make mine like you only I’m not a garlic person. Lol! I saw a lady a couple of years ago who said she asked her Granny why her goulash tasted a bit different from hers. Her Granny told her to always put 2 items in...unfortunately I can only rem one, but I always add it now. After the goulash is done, sprinkle parmesan cheese, the dry kind, and mix it in. It really is good, since Bret doesn’t like cheese he might not go for it, But the kids might like it, thanks for all your time and talents!

I’ve made this recipe a number of times so far and I really enjoy it, it’s a hit with the whole family. I use your recipe for the most part and tweak it a little here and there to my liking. This time I had about a cup and a half of marinara leftover from chicken Parmesan last week so I decided to put that in with the tomatoes. I omitted the sugar since the marinara is fairly sweet. I also added a touch of soy sauce. This is the best one I’ve made so far. Thanks for your recipe!

Hi Becky I love watching your videos. I actually make goulash. And it's awesome everyone loves it. Even the ol man says it's like his momma's. I do mine a little different. Just like with any recipe make it your own. God bless you and your family. 🙏✝️☝️😊
