I'm a lucky lad having the engine all built up by Andy, cant wait to hear it on the Dyno, i recommend Andy's work to anyone!

Your boys are certainly following in your footsteps. That new workshop looks like there is a lot of expansion on the cards and new staff to help with turn-round of engines etc. It's good to see you are benefiting from this KZbin channel! Seeing the close-up of the cash and steering wheel filled me with nostalgia, as I was the one who designed them both back in 1967 when I was in the styling studio in Humber road, Coventry when employed by Rootes!

Sorry to hear you had a tough week but that new shed looks like a huge step in the right direction (as well as a huge amount of work!). Enjoyed it all but the carb chat took my basic understanding up quite a few more notches - running it with half the bits missing was a really smart way to explain. Another great video. Thanks again and take it easy.

So easy to bleed an imps cooling system 👌 I used to swap the 74° stat for a 90° in winter too 😊

That cam carrier looks very much like the one fitted to the Carter 998 we ran in the 70's. Machined from billet.

V12 HE (High Efficiency) head - the odd exhaust recess and spark plug location are to create swirl (US would say Fireball) it works with the piston shape to better mix the gases and improve combustion, I believe it was a Michael May design, the pre-HE used dished pistons, the HE used domed pistons. HE was introduced to meet California emission regulations - and yes the small ports are for air injection (US Spec only)

Love the videos, but what's bob's place called? I'm struggling to get a decent crankshaft ballancing place in my area.
