In 1978 I was in a hospital bed with each leg broken in two places from a car crash, and I remembered playing this song over and over on my cassette player. I clearly was not having a "Lovely Day" but somehow this song got me thru the rough times. Thanks Danny, Pina & the Band for a wonderful performance. Cheers

What a beautiful song to select for a performance by HSCC. It looked like the ensemble had a really good time recording this. Bill Withers was such an underrated and under-promoted talent, yet created several songs that will live forever. This backdrop is spectacular. I was able to visit Australia several times… with its beautiful scenery and people… during my career in business, but spent only one business- packed day in Adelaide over those visits…boy I really blew that opportunity. Con and the gang as usual took a gem of a song and made it even more stellar. Many thanks!!

Pina Del Re has a very beautiful voice. I would love for her to do a album with just her singing . I would purchase the album.
