Eminem regardless of his accolades, his skills, creativity, an humility… he will never get the respect he deserves. A big part of that is cause he’s white. An I’m a black guy telling you that. He’s in my 🔝 5 all - Time. His tracks are special. Albums unique an him he’s extraordinarily. His done more for hiphop than 99% of rappers. He pays homage to rappers before an after him he knows there lyrics. He has put millions upon millions out for communities, Detroit, to his artist’s an not to gain anything back but genuinely wanted to help the rap game hear these artists. He’s evolved has alot of growth an development as a person an artist. He’s a Legend…. Has to deal wit a culture that wasn’t his around all blacks an rose through the pressure an doubt an succeeded. He owes nobody anything he did his part an more but still chooses to give credit an props to Dre 50 ect well he helped make them rich to. Dre took a chance on M an M made Dre millions so he owes Dre nothing but still respects him an looks up to him an makes that known. Fuck all the Eminem haters an I’d say that to your face, I’m not an internet guy… I’m more up close an personal. I still bump M I don’t care what hood or guys who clam to be real don’t. I've always enjoyed listening to Royce. He's very intelligent, and can put together a puzzle in his head on the spot, and also figure out different ways to put it together. I think the best way to put it, he can think before he speaks. Royce knows that in today's world, Mc and rapping have finally split in half completely. Unfortunately, this generation cares more about rapping, and how the beat sounds. This is where it gets confusing with eminem and other lyrical beast. They will always be kings and held to the highest honor of hip hop. Everyone will see that all these rappers now, won't last. They can't adapt, especially with rap, as it is the only genre of music that has a climate change at any given moment. Sooner or later, people will realize that the only ones left, are the ones that have been here the whole time. The lyrical monsters. Em and Royce are the GOATS by the way, just in case anyone forgets!

Most overused word in Royce's vocabulary. "regurgitate" seems to be the only English word he always spews 😂😂😂

funny that you use spewed since they're the same by definition

U can still respect the artists that came before u but not like their music style it’s just a personal preference

guess I'm confused as to why you would have pushed em yo do something that he didn't want to do and why he agreed to do so on a beat he didn't feel especially as someone who produces beats

I was just watching interviews with Detroit rappers, I had to find this interview for reassurance 😊💯

I agree with Royce accept for one thing. If Eminem wasn’t on Friday night cypher I don’t think we would have cared. Not to throw away his greatness but we can hear Eminem on all other stuff I like to hear the artist who’s not really known

Nah man, if it's Detroit rappers ganging up on a track how can you not have the biggest rapper out of the D on there.

@@notforone Eminem is a great, however let the young new artist shine as Eminem had his run. Actually same with Royce too

I think a big part of problem(in terms of just the music, getting signed, getting heard, etc.) is that "the real Detroit sound" isn't easily digestible for the masses, or even hip hop fans specifically. It's something I personally like(though obviously over the last decade and a half that "sound" has become a lot more diverse), but that sort of off-beat rapping is something that doesn't hit people's ears right. It's something that takes a lot of listening to before most people can appreciate it, and nobody is going to keep listening to music that they don't like.
