I was born in 1960 and used to jump trains as a kid in southern Illinois and ride from one end of town to the other...We would go on the cabooses and steal flairs to burn ourselves with...lol Had a couple hard jumps when the train would start hauling ass and we waited to long. thank you Shoestring

If you get on at Mechanicsville New York And head out towards Charlestown Massachusetts.... You will go within 2 miles... where I grew up as a kid..in Athol Massachusetts.. It's about 25 miles.. East of the Connecticut River.. A good friend of mine... used to Work in the Deerfield MA. train yard.. He retired in 2012.

I was waiting in a box car waiting to go east. Train started moving, I looked out and the "Bull was setting right there (Got me) Hauled my arse to Albany Salvation shelter. I hitched back that night and just headed west to Syracuse. Used to be a yard to put automobiles on auto racks there in Selkirk.

When you get shaky and weak like that it usually means you have low blood sugar. Or hypoglycemic if you drank an orange juice or apple juice or some other kind of fruit juice it would get your sugar count back up and you will feel better.

What I used to do as a kid was put a wire that was from a livingroom lamp and remove the rubber from both ends and wrap it around both sides of the tracks on the iron nails and hide the wire under the rocks and it does not matter how far you are, but after you touch both sides the railroad things that come down will come down and block traffic. People will think there is a train coming but there won't be. Lol good way to prank people but might piss off some of the railroad workers because they will come out with Metal Detectors to find out wtf happen lol

How do you not get covered in chiggers?? I went metal detecting in the woods at a long forgotten civil war camp/river crossing were they also had a skirmish. Was cool found some fired bullets and a few dropped bullets that still had the wood plug in them.. anyway I got destroyed by chiggers .. than a few months later at another spot by the lake I live on I got em again even worse.. they got me all over. Even on my junk. I was miserable. Makes me not even wanna go out again and I love exploring out in the woods.. grew up on Long Island NY and I never got them there.. live north of atlanta now on lake allatoona and boy have I got ate up.. what’s your secret?
