@@wendyalane1 I hope you understand how grateful I am for the tips you’ve given me. I’m 18 and I’m gonna sign with agency soon, acting has been my dream since I was 11. I’m not in it to be famous, I don’t care if it’s budget or indie, as long as I’m playing a character, it’s about the script for me. Once again thank you Wendy

Thanks for explaining the co-star part. I had wrongly thought that the co-star was usually part of the storyline and didn't realize that the co-star doesn't necessarily have to be connected to the story.

One of the great parts about being a writer as well as an actor is the ability to write yourself, or somebody suspiciously like yourself, into things. ;-)

Great video, you know after being in the business for over 30 years, I think this is the first time I've heard someone explain this in a class setting. I mean we learned on set, and from the union guide. But great attention to detail.

Hi Wendy! If you ever get the chance, would LOVE if you did a video specifically on Chemistry Reads and how to create that "chemistry" with other characters like you mentioned (Mother/child; Romantic partner; etc). Thanks for all your advice!
@wendyalane1
@wendyalane1 2 жыл бұрын
A chemistry read is to see if you have the natural chemistry with another person. It can't be manufactured. You should always be physically relaxed in auditions - so your body can be free to be a channel for your emotions. Stay in class and keep developing your craft as an actor.

This is an odd question, but if you are cast in a TV film would you still use "supporting, lead" etc?
@wendyalane1
@wendyalane1 2 жыл бұрын
That a great question actually. If it is a film that appears on TV like a lifetime movie - it is still a movie. So put it under FILM. BUT- in the 3rd column of your resume write LIFETIME
