The value in the HWC far outweighs the cost. The Zoom seminars are worth the price of the program alone. You get direct, personal feedback on your materials and tapes from acclaimed casting directors, agents, actors etc. Sign up, follow the program, attend the Zoom seminars, go to class and watch how things start to click. It really is amazing! (I am not paid to say this.)

Hi Wendy! Hi Everyone. I have to tell you, hands down the best decision I ever made for my acting career was joining HWC. My package is now top notch, I'm with an excellent Manager, and excellent commercial Rep. I dove into the courses we were given, but stayed for the community and the Zoom sessions. I have an MFA in Acting from NYU Ya'll. They don't teach you the business part like HWC does! Anyone who joins in- see you there! Love you Wendy.

I find myself very fortunate to have the time and resources to pursue acting and I’m currently looking for acting classes in San Diego. The good thing is that even if acting doesn’t work out, the lessons from those classes will carryover to any profession. I have really found your advice and guidance to be very helpful. Thank you ❤

It's like you say, being grateful for the little things, cause they lead towards big things. I myself am now in the situation where I have a great understanding with 2 agencies. The last commercial audition I participated in for them, I ended up being the second, a finger away from getting the job. "Oh well, better next time, right?" They liked my attitude and since then, I have been 4 times PRESELECTED and they send me the script and I do a self-tape (booked 2 out of those 4). Of course, still a lot to learn, but we'll getting there :) so, thank you for all the advice, Wendy :)

For a self casting tape does it have to be from tv shows and film or it can be from theatre work too?
@alis_thenics7 күн бұрын
I have been told making a self tape with movie scenes makes you look very green and that it should not be posted at all on any social media or platforms. Is this true, does this make you look unexperienced?

Hey Wendy, I’m receiving world class training from a top studio, I’m not sure what to do next??? We have a business course as well but I’ve got the training part down (so far, training never ends in my opinion) but what do i do next? I’m in California already as i was born here, how do i go about it? Do i start with headshots? Do i try to sign up for backstage or something? Just go to casting calls? Auditions?
@wendyalane14 ай бұрын
actors access, casting networks, headshots, record 3 self tapes of your 3 most castable types, submit yourself for everything you are right for, audition and book!
