Iceland is good. But it is kind of boring to watch them play Denmark, because they continually got to play with their feet inside the line. Refs have really started to not call those plays. They slaughtered France just now

4 out of Icelands starting 7 missing through covid, the captain and leader among those 4 along with the nailed on starting goalkeeper and veteran player in Björgvin Gústafson, 2 out of 3 genuine world class players in the Icelandic team out with covid, but still gave the world champions a good game, seperated by an exceptional goal keeping performance by Møller. A promise of a bright future for Iceland

-you're missing like 5 key players -the keeper on the other side has 50% over 40 minutes, the other one only 15,4%, which is still 40% in total -your keepers only have a 15,6% saving rate -you still only lose by -4 goals against the world champions i'm sure iceland would've won that game with their key players. i am very interested to see what iceland, netherlands and montenegro will do against eachother, as i think they will all beat croatia and lose to france and denmark (sadly in some way). unless there are more big suprises to come i see france denmark iceland netherlands montenegro croatia as the final ranking of the group.

It doesn't work like that. Would they win more over a number of matches, most likely. But there are so many factors in a single match that they could just as likely have ended up performing worse.

No, it doesn’t work like that - Denmark said it would be a hard game, becauese they did not know what to expect. No doubt Denmark have a better, deeper team. Plus this was a bad game from Denmark.
