I might get hate for saying this but I'm a smaller female too and I think people are just meaner to us when we are alone. I walk around with my big husky man and I'm so much braver because nobody says shit to me lmao. I am so happy for you two. You two are a dream team!

I noticed that to my wife, who’s small petite will be shopping or something and a customer will walk in very rude to her and I tell her I bet you if I was next to you or your brother was next to you or a man was next to you that guy wouldn’t be so brave. If it’s true, what you say when women are alone, men think they can mouth off more and in society, it’s not right.

Per the Henry Cowell State Park website: Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park staff have announced a prescribed burn in the Redwood Grove this Tuesday, May 9. 60 brush piles 6′ x 6′ in size will be ignited throughout the grove. The burn is part of the park’s management effort to reduce the fuel load in the old-growth forest and restore habitat. Staff and fire crews will be onsite for the duration of the burn. (You're welcome, guys!)

Not that your life isn’t busy enough, you two need to start a travel channel. Not sure what order I have seen your videos, but this one , San Francisco, the beach, the pier and other places you have gone to flea markets in where you do a bit of sightseeing are so funny and this is in no way meant as an insult, but seeing them through Kayla’s eyes is like seeing them as a child. Kayla you are so curious and innocent the way you approach new adventurers. Seriously, think about doing short sightseeing videos like this one. ❤

Hiya, Kayla and Matt! I would LOVE to have been there with you! So much fun! A bit of nostalgia for me every time I watch you guys your videos. At 7:55 marker the puzzles that you were looking at, reminded me instantly of my younger days. I was born in 1959, and our church had those puzzles in the nursery. The kids had so much fun with them, that they were worn down on the side the pieces and were loose and floppy in the holes, and the paint was fading. That's how well loved they were. So neat to see them again, after all of these years.

When you get a chance, research how the giant redwoods can catch on fire from under the ground. Making it burn from the inside out. It’s truly fascinating, and why it’s so burnt when you walk in to the hollow of the trees. Yet, when you step out, they look pretty normal. Not burnt at all. Still hoping you two come to my neck of the woods. Monterey coast, Big Sur… If the rain doesn’t cause mudslides. Carmel and the coastal drive is so breathtaking. Kayla would love it. Plus the boho shops and restaurants along the drive are wonderful. Have fun!

Ok I'll shut up after this... The banter between you is really what every reseller wants for a partner. Perhaps that's why so many got divorced recently? and it's not over I'm sure because thrifting is the whole new craze... list and sell it is the problem many folks have after seeing such joy in a video like y'alls. My man comes in to help me ever so often but most of the time he just sits and waits in the car which makes me feel like I need to hurry up and get out of there but my relief comes in "shit shopping" - so I just don't try to take him as much anymore. We all need a Matt or perhaps a Matt-ilda 😂😂😂

I've never had to pay to go to a flea market. I just love Kayla's giddiness at seeing the redwood trees and overall being out of the cold. I completely understand we were in the teens all last week .

I love how excited you get even over the little things. I find joy in it all as well.

Kayla!!!!! Your joy and enthusiasm for the redwoods and banana slug is beautiful! As someone who lives in California and has been to many of the places in this video (watched a movie at that drive in/flea market) I sometimes forget all the beauty around me, so thank you for the reminder. Also Matt, what a terrific event planner, protector, and safe place for Kayla!

Aww that little wooden bird you picked up, Kayla, was one of those balancing birds that you can pose on your finger or a stand. And whatever you do DO NOT TOUCH THE BANANA SLUGS!! You’ll never get the slime off.

Very nice video. Thank you for sharing the visit to the woods. I live on the east coast so I probably wouldn’t see them only in pictures. I love watching you two going to the sales. You really amaze me how you know your stuff. Keep up the good videos love watching them.
