This show is amazing, rewatching some scenes with you i now notice particular sentences that make a lot more sense now having watched all the show. The interaction between Ragnar and King Ecbert is amazing.

I loved Ecbert, the secret Roman. The Danes were a fascinating culture. But I think Ragnar and Ecbert were fated to fight each other.

@@Hesher93 season 5 is still pretty good but season 6 is where I think it really went down although it had some great moments overall it was just decent, but I think that’s just due to the high expectations everyone had because of how great the first 4 seasons were, if the last 2 seasons were the whole show people would really enjoy them but now they’re being compared to earlier seasons and they’re just not as good.

And you didn't recognize the uncle which was killed by Floki. That was Meryn Trant from GoT. The one who was guard to Joffrey and later was killed by Arya when she took face of another girl and then stabbed him in eyes.

You already know that Vikings was taking shots at GoT by hiring a GoT actor and killing him off the way they did.

@@MFBloosh actually he isn't 1st actor from GoT in here. In season 1 when Ragnar took brother of king Aela as a hostage. There was 1 officer with him, it was Polliver , the one who took Arya's sword and then later she killed him by stabbing in neck, during the fight in tavern.

@@anonymousfx5254 Nah yeah I know I was just saying that the whole scene where Floki kills him and takes his crown in slow motion.. Almost feels like a metaphor for Vikings taking the crown from GoT, or at least trying to.
